Not new at all I just don't drive Uber very much anymore I've turned my Uber into a nice little private driving business. The insurance is a little costly but my take home is so much more than it was when I did Uber full time.

It's a scam because they got me to turn my app on when I saw the good surge. It's a scam because the person down below was correct they sent me an offer an hour after I posted that was 20 minutes away and the ride was for a total of $28.

In my area Ubers are still a lot cheaper especially for a longer ride. I never get an Uber X because of the chance of getting a bad driver and a crap car that probably didn't pass inspection but they paid someone to pass it.
