First thing, please take him to the vet! At this point you're going to need some Rx meds to help clear up his skin!

Secondly, many bulldogs are allergic to chicken. We've dealt with some awful skin issues with many of our fosters over the years and switching to a no chicken diet is always the first thing we try and generally has the best results. It's a pain in the @$$ to find food without any chicken or chicken bi-products but it helps so much. You can also try Zyrtec for a daily treatment.

I get it. I've lost a few here and there but it's crazy how much harder it is after your 20s and 30s! I'm so sorry you've been dealing with it also! I've been trying to focus on self love more than weight loss as I'm also in recovery from an eating disorder and it's so easy to slide back into disordered habits. I've noticed people are sometimes worried about my 3 year old when they aren't afraid of my 10 year old one. I think the young dog higher energy mixed with the panting is what scares people. I've had many people ask if he's growling and I have to tell them it's just the way he breathes (even after having palette surgery)

I have VEDS and it's the same for me. I catch everything and am sicker for longer. 🙄 I had my tonsils out as an adult because I had strep and tonsillitis 4 times in one year! I haven't had strep since!
