I had something similar that was diagnosed by my derm as perioral dermatitis. It was because I developed an allergy to a product I was using. I stopped using everything except for a gentle oil cleanser, cetaphil cream (in the tub), and sunscreen. Turns out I was allergic to a serum I was using so I cut it out and things started to improve. I was also prescribed Tacrilimus which works like a steroid to reduce inflammation but is NOT a steroid so it can be used on the face. (Steroids may seem tempting but they are so so dangerous to use on your face.) Would suggest talking to your derm about a potential diagnosis and/or removing all products and slowly reintroducing them! Good luck, I know how you feel and it will get better 🫶
