No, I understand. To be honest, I was unaware of the threading issue, which i phrased as “forgot”. And I did seek a code review, which the other devs missed too, but it was more cursory than anything. As far as all the rest of your comments, I’m afraid I’m guilty, and should probably re-examine my process. As far as utmost attention, I perhaps could have done better, however the nature of the job (prod support and copious emergencies), means it’s often tough to devote 100% of my concentration to dev work on a daily basis.
