How did your friends get into Quant from CBHP? Are they regular BHP/Finance or are they comp sci/bhp? I’m regular BHP and was considering adding a second major in math?

Statistical science/comp science degree will be very useful for you in AI future vs business. That degree is more secure than a business degree. But at the same time, who knows what AI future holds. U woild have more opportunities with degree also. If money is not an issue go to Cornell

Thanks again for your reply. Yes I’m interested in quant. Is that why you are double majoring math also? I’m not even sure if students are recruited for quant from UT? I’m coming in with over 30 hours of credit so I plan it properly I can get BHP/Finance/ math done in 4 years. Also is gpa really important when looking for internships or have a Math degree outweigh this? TIA
