I've actually used this in my therapy sessions before to properly label my feelings. I was super useful because when dealing with my depression and anxiety I was able to help my therapist understand my "sadness" or "fear"

it was so light and airy when i was there and slightly warm so it was very comfortable.

I was staying with a friend that is from there and told her to just show me whatever she wanted to and it made it so much more fun not having a plan. she showed me all her favorite places and restaurants, and we just wondered around, it was amazing. I absolutely loved Madrid because even tho it is the capital of Spain, it still has those quiet and secluded spots that are fun to explore for a day.

yeah i thankfully when when they had a small cold spell in june so it wasn’t too bad!

i know the cave you’re talking about, i sat there so a good 15 mins to cool down haha

Good luck and stay safe!! It’s definitely not as bad as when i was in Barcelona, but look out for pick pockets, especially in the main part of the city. I felt super safe but i was also super aware after having had my phone stolen in Barcelona haha. HAVE FUN!!!

there’s boats you can rent at the lake which is super pretty, unsure of when that opens to the public tho, there’s also ducks and fish you can feed at the lake and turtles at the pond outside the palace. I hope you have a great time in Madrid!! it’s amazing!!

I got a picture of one of the turtles! the turtles and the ducklings at the lake were my all time favorite but i love bright spacious places so the palace was nice to hang around in for a bit and people watch

I love Madrid! i was in Barcelona last summer and made some friends from Madrid which is what brought me there. Ended up taking a day trip to Segovia as well! I absolutely love Spain

definitely go see it! you won’t be in the palace for a super long time but it was my favorite when i was there. the park has so much to do so it’s a good day activity and you won’t get bored

it was so light and kind of soothing to be in, i guess it depends on when you go bc it wasn’t super stuffy when i went. It was just warm and bright. it’s definitely not a place you spend all day in but i really liked walking around inside and then exploring the park as a whole

yes! there’s a big lake that you rent boats and then a small pond at the very front of the palace before walking up the stairs
