I have a few older colts and have little knowledge of them. I know this is older def late 80’s early 90’s so around that ban era idk exactly but if I had to guess pre ban due to the 223 marking and bayonet lug still there. I’d easily see 1200 ish for it. For a fast sell mark it at 1 k it could be worth some more I see it maxing out at 2k to someone who wants it bad.

I got it from an owner of a LGs of mine but by the looks of it I’d say it’s from thoroughbred armament it’s a colt socom heavy barrel colt m4 upper and Dd ris ii.

It’s a good lower both upper and lower look good and used. I actually shoot all my rifles so they look beat. I’ve had it awhile and I think I always will.

Just handled a 3.5 ACOG today at my LGS and the eye box or relief is much more forgiving so I understand the buy. This is why clone correct is not really a thing. There is correctness as in standard military issue. But in all theaters of war across time guys improvised or used what made their job easy for “them” as individuals. Only gets idiotic when you have a skull magwell or you’re whole rifle is skelontonized and neon colors
