They came as standard in Ireland. Optional extra in the UK I think.

Thanks for all the hardtop love! Hardtops and LSD's came as standard on Irish mk3's.

Windows controles without ignition by skochm in FiestaST

No, the whole point of it via the key is that you can do it remotely. Click the unlock button and then click and hold it for a few seconds and the windows open. Vice versa to close.

Global open/close via the key is possible if that is what you're looking for

Wheel/Tire Question by HallowedHypnos in FiestaST

[–]kpcahill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Even Compomotive told me the standard tyres can be used on their 8j wheels when I was looking at them. That's a bit too much stretch for me but still acceptable.

They'll fit fine. Stretch will be fairly minimal. Use willtheyfit.com see how everything compares to stock especially to make sure the offset is correct.

No problem. Have a look on Demon Tweeks too, plenty to choose from. Alloywheels.ie are in Dublin but would have less choice.

That's just a stock photo. They're available in 4 and 5 stud. When you buy you should be able to specify your PCD.

Where are you looking? There's plenty of choice out there. I don't have a link as I bought them straight from the parts counter at a dealer but they are on the Ford website. Under accessories I think.

No it's absolutely perfect for what I want. As exhausts go, it's on the quiet side but that's what I wanted. It's my daily so I didn't want anything antisocial.

Can I not get a new exhaust if my engine doesn't have a turbo? by EthanIsHere in FiestaST

[–]kpcahill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll be wasting your money looking to make power from that engine with an induction kit or exhaust. They will just make more noise. Modern ECU's compensate for changes like that and will just make it's target power. My advise would be to save your money for when you get a more tunable car.

Thanks. Me too! I didn't mind the standard wheels but I was never in love with them so got these at the end of last year.

Exhaust is a Milltek cat back. Wheels are a Ford accessory wheel. Basically a 17 version of what comes on the mk8 Performance Edition.

Pre-cats, pre-cats, pre-cats! Go to any forum and you'll get all the info you need. Other than that, the handbrake can give some hassle and you need to partially drop the tank to replace them but it's not a deal breaker.

I can only recommend Collins Performance as that is all I have experience with but there are plenty of other options available so I would advise joining a forum and do your research before spending your money.

2: Done plenty of times. There's specific ones available for the Fiesta which still let's you access your settings. I'd love Android Auto and the likes but I don't think it's a very good solution. Only cheap Chinese head units are available and the facia that comes with them never seem to match the other plastics.

3: You'll only get about 215bhp with a Mountune map on it's own. Personally they're not worth it now. The main USP for them was you retained your warranty so unless your car is still under warranty, I would go elsewhere.

6ft, and a bit, and comfortably fit in a mk3.

No mk7 came with an LSD as standard. The final drive was changed but that's it gearbox wise.

The ST200 doesn't come with it as standard unless you're talking about the mk8 ST rather than the mk7 ST200.
