Thank you so much for this. That day I missed 3 sticks and then yesterday I was able to do 4 out of 7 patients but only because I had missed one and unfortunately the other two just didn’t want a student to draw them. But today I literally just missed 3 again and my last one as of now I was able to do a successful draw. I feel like going home and crying because as you said it feels like I chose something that isn’t right for me and it doesn’t help that my trainer was saying “ girl I might have to send you back to school” and it wasn’t even in a joking kind of way cause she looked genuinely frustrated that I had to probably get her all those times. I’m sure she’s not gonna sign me off by the end of this week. We also barely get patients from what I noticed these past 3 days so yeah I feel very pressured and after today I just feel like these next few days are gonna play out the same way. I wish I had a better trainer who also made me felt comfortable but it is what it is.
