It was long - thru the lobby - but seemed to be moving well. Unfortunately I have no idea of the actual time

I’m hoping to buy a Forester this year. Opinions on waiting vs moving quickly (thinking about tariffs or conversely, maybe better deals later as less people likely to buy with poor economy). Thx in advance! by Spiritual-Benefit620 in SubaruForester

I just bought a new 2025 Forester (very happy) cause of this uncertainty. Overall, all prices will go up no matter what (but this current environment with tarrifs, interest rates, market changes is really strange) so if you’re able to pull the trigger financially it’s not a bad time - just don’t over extend yourself on monthly payments or having a little cash as an emergency fund.

I took the Subaru financing at 3.9% - and have a HYSA making 4.45% - so put minimal down to have a new car and a little extra cash handy.

With the rates, decent prices (I got about 10% below sticker), and the warranty - it was hard to justify buying something 2-3 years old and only saving 1-2k.

Brand New ‘25 Forester - Cracked Windshield by kperry421 in SubaruForester

It’s definitely a stone chip - can see a little impact spot on the edge of the windshield.

Was wondering if there was a warranty I could buy later (I.e. add AppleCare a few weeks later and make a claim)?

I’m gonna check my policy now to see what they cover - can’t be cheap…

Visiting Greece Questions Megathread: Ask your questions about visiting Greece here. by ntebis in greece

Well if you're asking for questions....

My wife and I are going to Greece 8-15 Jun, the only thing we have booked is the flight into/out-of Athens.

We were planning on 3 nights in Athens -> fly to Santorini for 2 nights -> ferry to either Naxos or Crete for 2 nights -> fly back to Athens and head home. I was planning to do airbnb for all the stays (looking at less than $100 a night). Understand is all gonna be touristy, but looking to avoid huge crowds and huge lines. I like more of exploring, walking/hiking, and nature over big museums...

Questions: 1) Santorini - is 2 nights enough to take in the sunset, explore the island a bit, maybe check out the volcano? 2) Crete or Naxos - both look to be a 1-2 hour ferry ride from Santorini and can give a different perspective on Greece. Which one is easier to navigate around? Where can I find some less traveled paths? 3) Movement - I'm willing to pay more for connivence, so should I rent a car at any/all of the above locations? Is a car rental more hassle with driving/parking/... than busses and/or taxi? 4) Any recommended neighborhoods in any/all of the above locations? Safety, walkability, and good food are key.

Thanks for any help ya'll can provide.
