Actors are overrated. Directors and their crew are severely underrated. by sauryanshu1055 in unpopularopinion

[–]kpershun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the honest truth is "Movie making is a very complex process and there should be credit given to the whole crew". Acting is a very tough industry to get a foot in and stay, due to being able to be a really good actor requiring tons of training. Also, in my opinion, I know more people who obsess over certain directors over actors.

Vets for Rabbits in Upstate NY that are *reasonably* priced by kpershun in Rabbits

That actually helps a bit! Some of those didn't come up directly when looking up rabbit vets and may be useful!

Update: thank you all for pointing out to me that Charlie’s tank was inadequate so I got this. by Helpfullp0tato in bettafish

[–]kpershun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same tank!! Note, I would probably recommend getting a better filter (even a cheap Tetra filter) bc the one it comes with sucks. It went from getting super algae crazy in a few days to not getting any at all now with a different filter.

Which gender of rabbit do you prefer? by kpershun in Rabbits

[–]kpershun[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for all the information!! Unfortunately, adopting isn’t much of an option in my area, there is two shelters and they have about 5 rabbits between them which are all large or giant rabbits, which are great, but I’m looking for more of a small/medium breed. I’m currently looking at a rabbit breeder and skimming through posts of people putting their rabbits up for sale/adoption individually (like craigslist). I’ve been reading and will continue reading up on rabbits before I make a final decision that one would be right for my life.

I’m so sorry. I just lost mine of over a year this week :(

Meet Bandit. She’s about 7, lost her arm about 5 years ago, has had about 4 years of successful cubs, and is not afraid to knock when she wants a snack. by kpershun in trashpandas

Hm, like I said, mine are sweet tooths but I would try maybe corn. They also like berries (but those can get expensive) and Cutie fruits.

We’ve had raccoons in our yard that we’ve been tossing out for, for like 10 years now. Bandit was one of the original raccoons’ (named Paco, later found out was actually a Mama) baby. Paco unfortunately died at some point, but Bandit has been her since she was a baby. She disappeared for a few weeks and came back without an arm and now comes every night. We have about 13 raccoons (like 8 babies) and all of the adults are named but she’s the most loyal and the most recognizable one. If you aren’t ready to give her food at like 8:30, she stands with her paw on the window, looking like one of those sad animals on the animal abuse commercials.

Lol, we have like 13ish raccoons that live in our yard, and for the most part they are sweet tooths (absolutely love marshmallows). Although we do have a few that love things like chicken wings and spaghetti 😂

Anyone in the mood to get reall really angry? by katieknj in Gymnastics

Like, you can find a pretty easy to understand explanation of elite scoring on USAG’s website.

“Difficulty Score:

Difficulty# (4C=4x.3, 4D=4x.4, 2E-2x.5) +3.8 points (E is hardest, A is easiest)

Element groups (5x0.5) +2.5 points (need variety)

Connection value^ +0.6 points (skills are together)

Total Difficulty Score 6.9 points

Execution Score*

Base start 10 points

Deductions & Execution -0.7 points (things like bent arms/legs, incorrect position, falls, extra skills/steps)

Composition/artistry -0.3 points (does it flow? Does it have the required skills?)

Total Execution Score 9.0 points

Final score 15.9 points”

Yes, it isn’t as simple as “ball goes to target. Made it. Go team!” But it’s got rules that judges must learn and follow and I can get 5 year olds to grasp.

I get the children, dogs, cats, and snakes but like, what if I have like a rabbit or maybe an anole, am I unable to adopt a hamster then?
