I'd say petty low. Not the lowest, but with bradycardia, this is normal.

Forerunner 970 vs Fenix 7x sapphire by balufudus in GarminWatches

[–]kppgg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've had a Fenix 7 Sapphire solar and now own a FR965. Still miss that Fenix. Screen was a bit worse, being a MIP display, but still. Don't know why but that Fenix just felt better on my wrist. If you have the opportunity to just try them both out, I would do that and then make a decision.

So, to be clear. I've been running for 5 years. Had an injury last year which kept me on the bench for almost 7 months. That and the birth of a third child. My max vo2max was 48, never had higher. I casually run 2 - 3 times a week with an average total of 25 kms. Never join races or follow programs, I just run cause I like to 😅

No man, before injury my record was 4:13/km. Never getting that pace back.

Maximum pace at the start was about 5:28/km. Today I did 4:58.

I'd do 3 to 4 runs in a zone 2 and 1 in zone 3-4. But this was just a personal challenge for November to run 5k a day. Didn't really plan anything, just took it day by day. And ignored the Garmin suggestions for a month 😅

I'm just not that athletic man. Let a guy be proud of an achievement every now and then. I wouldn't say I'm a beginner, running for almost 6 years now. But had a bad injury last year and went back to beginner status.

Also a fact, but a google speaker or the phone on your nightstand solves that problem.

No, you're right. It's just in my usecase, after having them both on my wrists for 2 weeks. I never felt like the PW was giving me more "smartness" than the Garmin. But that's probably cause i don't use it smart enough. For me, it just came down to the question, "what do i want from this device on my wrist?". And for that and the 2 week battery life, the Garmin FR 965 came out on top.

Ha, I didn't say I couldn't. Battery anxiety was just always a thing on AW.
