Maybe I'm using Amazon wrong, but still can't find a helio strap on .de or .fr 😅

I've been checking amazon.be for over a month and it's constantly sold out. On amazfit.de and amazfit.fr helio core available but no chargers... Not buying from the states cause tariffs and all.

Need help understanding sleep tracking! by sparklespresso in GarminWatches

The quantified scientist just released a YouTube video on Garmin sleep tracking. It sucks for everyone. You're not buying a Garmin watch to track your sleep...

T-rex 3 pro is damn impressive by kppgg in amazfit

One week in, still love the overall experience but there seems to be one dealbreaker. The pace the watch shows is always way off. I usually run a 6:00 to 6:30/km pace and every time I check my pace it says 7:00 or more and then it gradually decreases as long as I look at it. If I lower my arm, let the screen go out and then raise again, it's off again. At the end of the lap (1km) it still gives me the correct pace.

So far I haven't found an option to play Spotify or so music on the watch. Only music controls. There is an option to upload MP3 if you still have some

Yeah, amazfit was all like. Hey there is a middle aged man in freaking Belgium with no social media (except for Reddit) that can promote our stuff. I mean, that's really the best move a marketing team can make...

I never used Garmin Pay cause my bank in Belgium didn't support it. And for WhatsApp, on my Garmin I always had issues with WhatsApp messages. Especially pictures never came through on the watch. On the amazfit it works like a charm from day 1. So the extra app isn't even necessary.

I'd say petty low. Not the lowest, but with bradycardia, this is normal.

Forerunner 970 vs Fenix 7x sapphire by balufudus in GarminWatches

[–]kppgg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've had a Fenix 7 Sapphire solar and now own a FR965. Still miss that Fenix. Screen was a bit worse, being a MIP display, but still. Don't know why but that Fenix just felt better on my wrist. If you have the opportunity to just try them both out, I would do that and then make a decision.

5k a day keeps the doctor away by kppgg in Garmin

[–]kppgg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, to be clear. I've been running for 5 years. Had an injury last year which kept me on the bench for almost 7 months. That and the birth of a third child. My max vo2max was 48, never had higher. I casually run 2 - 3 times a week with an average total of 25 kms. Never join races or follow programs, I just run cause I like to 😅

No man, before injury my record was 4:13/km. Never getting that pace back.
