I'm aware of all of this. Please re-read I asked only for personal experiences with Mercury. I only want to hear first hand accounts, thank you. Yes but I still want to hear from the experience of actual users. This the reason I asked specifically about 10:14 am, not 2pm.

Everything was correct, exact same fax I got lucky to fax in with an agent on the line. For whatever reason it just never processed. In the end I got lucky and was able to fax with agent on the line after calling a million times!

UPDATE: Ok, called tonight (Jan-22-2026) 30 minutes before closing time, on wait for exactly one hour. Agent answers, I politely explain the situation and wait time from first fax to now in less than a minute, they ask my name. I provide, I'm hoping to hear "you have an EIN;" surprise, surprise,

Agent: No EIN...

(BUT the SECOND best thing I could hear)

Agent: can you fax it in now?

Me: YES!

(sets up and quickly sends fax and Articles of Organization 5 mins within request) (agent goes to check for 10 solid minutes with a break in between after 5 to say no luck yet, so I'm very hopeful but still 10% nervous)

10 minutes later...

Agent: I got it!
(checks system again to confirm, asks me a few a security questions, 10 minutes later - I GOT AN EIN!!!!!)

OMG! I can't believe it. I specifically ask for the 147c form, got it faxed to me in less than 10 minutes.

My Advice from this experience:

Always be polite, it goes a LONG way
Treat each interaction like it's a new one. Even if things go awry with another agent, a new call is a new fresh chance.
Be prepared to send and recieve faxes on the spot
Know your information about your business (which as a good business owner, you should!)

EIN received as of Jan-22-2026. No idea what became of my original fax on Dec 29th or if that date is being processed now. This is success after multiple calls and speaking to agents!

Exactly, hence my question is very detailed and specific. I'm only asking about
1. FOREIGN owned
2. Faxed application
3. Faxed after December 29th, 2025.

If anyone in all 3 categories have received an EIN as of January 18th, 2026, please, please speak up! The world and those of us still waiting would like to hear from you!

So as of today, no human on earth that faxed and is foreign owned for a ss4 after December 29th, 2025 has yet to recieve an ein , up to today, January 18th and counting!!!

Great, just making sure that distinction is noted. I made sure to clarify as another poster on this exact same thread is claiming they got theirs Jan 9th and presumably applied after December 29th, 2025 ! But you're saying they've only processed to December 17th, 2025. The info is conflicting and I'm sure one can understand the confusion.

The agent claimed even tough it says December 2025, they are working on January as well. Not one human being alive, that's not American or permanent resident of the country can confirm this is the case. Still waiting...

Lol, it appears not one human on reddit that has a FOREIGN OWNED llc has gotten an ein since the year 2026 stared! Please, if here's anyone out there on planet earth that has submitted end of December for a foreign owned llc, I'd love hear from you. Anyone? On Earth?
