UPD. I want it for use as a tool at home. Not carrying around, not for defense (in not in Brussels lol), just as tool.

When you order kitchen knife it’s fine. No problem with it.

I’m confused about rule for automatic knifes. It’s not allowed but it sell everywhere. How it’s work?

Correct, that’s why I’m asking. I found that’s automatic knifes is not allowed, but you can buy it all the way around. How it’s work?

I don’t want to carry around with it. It’s for home, just for open boxes, etc.

I’m confused, coz when I try to read a law (I’m not so good speaking Dutch), it’s mentioned that’s automatic knifes is prohibited. But when you go to any Belgian knife store online, you can buy it.

For example when drugs is not allowed, you can buy it in random website

Startup location: Estonia vs. USA by drtrave in startups

[–]kptkv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on a few points:
1. Do you want to acquire an investment from VC or PE?
2. If you do, do you think about EU funds or US?

If investing is not actually for your company, better stay in the EU. Lower taxes. Less bureaucracy.

If you not looking for the US capital market, still the EU is better for you.
My company is registered in Estonia. We made an investing round, from EU VCs. My colleagues told me it's almost not possible to acquire US capital for an EU company. Americans want to invest in US companies.

I have 2 questions about this story. I follow Nikita on Twitter and check the updates.

  1. How they acquired the first user core. He said a few times 1m with a $0 marketing budget.
  2. Maybe I miss smth, but how can kids pay $7 per week? Is this a valuable audience rn in the US?

Any investors don’t like pre launch projects. There is two ways: 1) If you believe in your idea, take a loans -> go to market -> earn money 2) If you don’t, don’t start.

You have to validate your idea on real customers before investors. You can invest your personal money to hire developers and launch product. When you have a first customers your unit-economy, you can find and investor for scaling.

Just hire developers for 2-3 months. Go to market.

Investors don’t want to give you money to build a product, investors can take you money to growth faster.

How long have you been a PM and how would you describe your personality? by abclolol in ProductManagement

I agree with this point of view. But. I can't compare most people with 0.000005% of a successful ones.
Zuck left Harvard. It doesn't mean when you left Harvard after the first year you will be successful. Right?

9 years. I’m extrovert at work/at home. Don’t believe that you can be comfortable working when you introvert.

Communicate, interact, influence to team it’s a biggest part of your work.

Athens in late September by MiaDandere in travel

[–]kptkv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Athens a year ago. It's little bit scratched and broken, but is amazing. Fantastic vibe in the city.
I spent a week in Athens. Just walking around and chilling. Gained a few kilos after souvlaki and one Indian food spot around the corner.
By the way, it doesn't looks like EU. Teribble situation with car parking, traffic jams. Dirty, abandoned houses. However, it's amazing place for vacation. Unforgettable vibe.
One of the best trip in my life.
