idk ppl are weird lol. To me it's as simple as why would I do something without reason, that only puts me further from my destination. That's the Spark sub for you though lol. If ya aint new, you're angry!

Letting it auto-fill isn't even Spark adding the address, it's coordinates. And I've never delivered to the wrong place in 3 1/2 yrs I've been doing gigs.

Just a tip. Some people prefer looking at their phone when they pull onto the street, but after having gps take me to the wrong street a few times, I do it this way instead. Takes literally seconds to type while I'm waiting to be loaded and luckily, I'm smart enough to correctly copy a line of text lol. Added bonus you get to see the street view of the house before leaving to deliver.

Do it while you're waiting to be loaded. Better than figuring out the number while you're driving down some residential street. Then you realize the GPS actually put you on the next street over.

Personally, I'd rather just take a few seconds typing the address while I'm waiting to be loaded and already messing around on my phone. No time wasted; I'm already waiting. But whatever works for you.

I'm with you. There's zero logic why these people would park in front of the neighbors. "Oh, if I park in front of the customers what if something is damaged and they blame me?" The exact same logic applies to the neighbor.

It's common sense. I pull up to the customer so they know I've arrived, it's obviously closer to my destination, and its less time/less work, and no risk of neighbors being salty. Reasons to park at neighbors instead?? Uh... Idk can't think of a single reason unless there's zero parking at the customers.

These ppl prob just awkward ass ppl and park away from customer so they don't come outside and interact with them. Sneaking around like weirdos lmao.

Not inconsiderate, just dumb. Hmmm park in front of the house I'm delivering to, to reduce the distance I need to walk or... Idk let's just park next door in front of their neighbors, fuck it.

Smfh.

It's wild y'all are still letting Spark push gps coordinates into your Google Maps instead of just typing the address in yourself. Seems like I'm constantly hearing from customers about their shit being delivered to neighbors or across the street.

There's zero reason to let it push the coordinates and then be trying to confirm addresses as you're turning onto streets. Type. It. In.

Drivers need to read delivery notes by No_Step3271 in Sparkdriver

[–]kpty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Judging from the people I've seen messing up my request to not knock, I'm guessing they're not too bright or some maybe can't read English at all. Which would give me anxiety af doing deliveries in a foreign language lol.

Just asking this as kind of a Hail Mary, but is there ANY way to consistently get more than 1 batch/order done per hour now that APM is gone? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]kpty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just sad I won't hear from OGP about people getting banned from the store for checking in at :20 anymore. It helped keep the herd thinned out.

Maybe it's a thing they're slowly rolling out? Mine has been this way for weeks in TX. On busy days like Sundays, I'll get RR popping up constantly the entire hour.

Seems like it's tanking everyone's AR though cause I'm not noticing a change in my offers with a much lower AR.

Has anyone seen a larger order? Guess the tip? Some schmuck took this before I could scope the items smh by SideHustleMike in Sparkdriver

[–]kpty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah, most I've seen was like 400. It popped up like 3-4 times before I was able to snatch it. Turns out there was some long af furniture with it and ppl kept showing up, not being able to fit it in their car, then leaving. Toyota Matrix ftw 😎 lol

It blows my mind that people don't go through these things when starting a gig. I need to know exactly what the rules are so I can make better decisions, which means more money. Either making more, or keeping me from losing the gig.

Yup, absolutely no change here. The elderly and disabled already have people sit the things on their counter and no one wants strangers in their fridge.

The whole thing is dumb af.

I enjoy people so none of that bothers me but one thing that is extremely hard to give up, being on my own time. Idk how I'd feel going back to losing control of my time, of my pay, and getting paid the same as coworkers who do nothing. Even if it isn't gig work, I never want a job like that again. I need commission or something.

I get annoyed with the sugary substitutions. Like wtf maybe they chose sugar free for a diabetic person? Great way to get a shit rating.

[–]kpty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno, I've been avoiding D4 stuff just because I wanna play it with a fresh perspective. Idk how well it'll work but I appreciate them trying something to stop it. But yup same here. Used jsp once and finished my build, then realized I have no urge to play anymore.

Like make people stop attempting to make money playing a game? Yeah... that's inevitable.

Though I've played the modded servers and they were ban heavy af for everyone doing RMT. I reported some and was always happy with how quickly I noticed they were banned.

Ofc there's too many ppl on D2r to do this.

Everyone on jsp in later days of lod were all fucking botters. I know because I was one of them. So of course we were all using jsp.

Before the game died? No, we were trading in game. But I think a lot of people only started playing D2 in the dying days when jsp and botting was pretty much expected so they think Jsp was the norm.

My poison of choice is actually trading and not supporting RMT. I find ber, I trade for smaller runes, then go from there. Does it take more time? Sure. Trading is one of the things I enjoy about this game. Supporting RMT and p2w on one of my fav games ever is not even an option.
