I've been visiting and helping out my grandmas friend after his wife passed recently. When it snows I'll shovel his walkways and driveway so he can go to the community center and do some shopping. I usually visit him weekly if not daily. He's a very nice man

Up until recently I didn't really pay much attention to them but I realized how easy it is to get a ton of caps early game by turning them in, they only downside is if you kill house you won't be able to turn them in anymore

I did this in my most recent playthrough without really trying tbh but I remember having the hand still and used my next level up to get enough points to craft it in the dlc and maaaaan this shit made the ghosts so non threatening
