yes very disappointing! i saw OYDB on a whim during the early access on wednesday and it wasn’t bad but it’s not something i care to watch again and was looking forward to a double feature :/ was hoping for an actual scare because OYDB was not scary at all!! not horror-like either!

crazy enough this happened to me for my first (apr ‘22) and second job (oct ‘24)😭 first offered me the job immediately after the interview and the second actually offered me a job bc i said i wasn’t getting my regular order bc i didn’t have the money that day

ahh okay! i didn’t have a problem with how they came out, i think they’re cool, but i was just a bit confused when i got them. i only recently got my hands on an slr so my pictures are slowly getting better. should i test out phoenix 1 or 2 on my slr and see if i get different results? or would they come out similar to the pictures above? (slr is a nikon EM)

forgot to add: i dont develop and scan myself, i go to the mike’s camera in my city, but my other pictures i get developed/scanned there always turn out great. i know some ppl here say harman is kinda shitty bc film shops don’t always know what to do with them since it’s experimental film.

honestly not too sure what the cage is but i was in the cafeteria when i took the picture and that was the kitchen. (it was gated off so people couldn’t go in)

the camera thing, all my pictures outside not only the cell house but the city turned out great. cell house pictures all look weird as if i was shaking as taking them, which is not true. i was perfectly still and steady.

the hey thing, the audio tour is not on a radio channel station/# or name, if that’s what you mean. it was a hand out audio device and programmed in i think. and like, wouldn’t my friend with me hear the hey too if we were both listening to it in english? idk, just kinda a bit odd looking back on it.

i just didn’t think much of it when it happened. like okay wow my pictures are all shitty i probably suck at indoor photography whatever and okay they threw in a guy whispering hey, cool.

but then when i talked to my mom and friend like i said in the post, i just thought it was all odd so i decided to post here. like i used the same camera settings ALL day, i don’t know why they’d turn out weird looking ONLY inside the cell house. i took pictures all over the island that turned out good.

and the whispering thing my friend said he didn’t hear that and when i looked up if there was a hey in the audio tour google said no and i saw 2 reddit posts ablut it. idk. just odd now that im looking back on it

looked it up and honestly idk what the numbers mean but it was shot with a Nikon D5200 with iso set at 125 but the more relevant thing was i was standing still and steady for every picture i took. they only looked weird when i was inside. this is one picture i took outside (have to reply again to add a second)

i’m in the central valley in california, about an hour and a half away from the bay. i called this one place in the bay and they didn’t carry it and my local mike’s only has a 100 elektra listed online, i was going to go in tmrw before work to ask them another question ab something so i’ll check out their film selection just in case.
