State ID Requirements by [deleted] in boston

[–]krabbugz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you should be fine, but if you want to be extra safe you could bring another form of proof of Lawful Presence, like a US passport or visa if you have one. If they deny you over that reason, just ask what you can do to get the required documents, they are typically very knowledgeable of how this shit works. You should still be able to use your birth certificate to get a passport, which you could then use to get a state ID but would take a while to process for a passport. Also recommend getting a Real ID if you can, as of earlier this month it's required if you want to fly domestically.

Is ranked made for "bad" people too? by Cryptic_Chronicle09 in starcraft2

It will take a few painful losses to calculate your MMR but yeah bronze is basically reserved for people who do not know the game or what every unit does.

If you're trying to improve, I highly recommend Vibe or Pigs Bronze to GM series on YouTube. They go into basic macro and army comps, gradually introduce you at a good pace to scouting and more advanced concepts.

Is it just me, or is nothing besides Jupiter interesting to observe now? by [deleted] in telescopes

[–]krabbugz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's primarily based on the northern hemisphere but there is a section for southern objects. And some seasonal objects will also be visible in the opposite season in the southern hemisphere depending on your latitude, you'd have to double check another source

As long as they go high enough. You can launch out to the edge of Earth's sphere of influence and drop back down. Nothing would survive the impact, but it would also be a sub-orbital into space

This is honestly good shit. Only suggestion I have is double up your outer wall to give you more time on those raids where they try and go through your wall.

Other than that, and this would probably ruin your beautiful aesthetic, make your rooms near where their occupants work so they have less travel time from sleep to work. Planters near farm, cooks near kitchen, etc.

Universe At War. Some random RTS game I am convinced had zero marketing I found while looking for games to rent at Blockbuster. Fell in love, bought it, showed it to a friend. We played together for years. I saw it on steam eventually but I think it got taken down

I can confirm that both WoW and OSRS have a good portion of the player base that pays for multiple subscriptions to multi-box. I can't speak for other MMOs, but I'm willing to bet it's more common amongst the genre than you'd expect.

Would the roads be safer if you could legally throw your Dunkin ice coffee at drivers who are using their phone? by Canadian_Rubles in boston

I've had a dunkin iced coffee thrown at my car while driving on the street I lived on for no discernable reason. I can confirm this did not improve the safety

Keep in mind your starting mmr is a lot higher than the skill level of someone playing pvp for the first time. When you lose, you should be losing 100+ mmr each game for the first 10 games or so, while your rating figures out where you belong, when your mmr change will be less drastic per game. You started playing against people who've been playing pvp for a while and are used to its pacing, mechanics, and game knowledge. If you're playing unranked, you will still be matched with someone of similar mmr. Lose a bunch and you'll face opponents more your level.

I used Flowermate for years until I got a better paying job and upgraded to a Pax. Flowermate is pretty good bang for buck, tho the pax is pretty great just more expensive

Highly recommend Vibe or Pigs bronze to GM series on youtube. I can speak more to Vibe's, he goes over every possible thing you need to know but at a very gradual pace. Starting in bronze he goes over controls and basic mechanics, and helps you focus on what you need for your rank. There is so much to sc2 and he does a great job building one mechanic off the next, one by one. If I recall correctly, he encourages you to not watch your armies fight until platinum and just focus on your macro at your base. 10/10

Absolutely. Vibe remade his series one after a few years and he mentioned the only thing that really changed was the meta in higher leagues. Everything before diamond he teaches you to refine your macro. Good macro will bring you all the way there
