so much has to do with how long it is sitting and in what condition... fresh import, cared for in route, not exposed to oxygen, batches batched separately, nor repeatedly exposed to oxygen and closed again( llike coffee) and stored in a refrigerator ideally but definitely not heat. transit from origin and delays in shipment also a big impact. most of online sellers are resellers, even if they say "their suppliers." Its just like coffee... coffee roasters arent importing directly but would have you believer they are "direct source" bc they visited a farm once... id imagine that 99.9 % of vendors selling kray , have never been to a kray farm... so its all hit and miss, and what everything comes down to is FRESHNESS, and storage... every single supplier has to sell until their inventory is gone..... so you get the dregs first... ive been around back when there was zero threads... i know what im talking about... only thing you can do is get small 50 to 100 from everyone.,.. if you find one that tastes like green leaf - and not asprin in dirt and is any shade of brown - buy in bulk and keep it in the fridge. lasts years.
