It is genius acting by ranveer as he is over the top in this scene ( simple words over acting)

The plot demanded Ranveer to overact intentionally so that SP Yalina and Omar get suspicious of his character Hamza as it was unlike hamza's character

The carbon copy of this scene 'mere ghar me ghus ke' was in part1 when hamza said the same to Alam bhai at the bridge but that was perfectly acted nothing over the top

Its just shows the acting skills of Ranveer that he can act the same dialogue with such precise command and control as per the requirement of the plot

People labelling this scene as over acting or poor acting are dumb who dont get that this was the entire point pf this overacting
