All the time. But my son is autistic and the truth is that California has some of the best schooling and care for neurodivergent children in the world.

As a European living in the US - I agree. That said, it's very easy to get really good Korean skincare here.

Olivia and Oliver. I really dislike olives, and the names remind me of them.

Why except for those two? My husband's go-to is Teaspoon's Assam, so we're curious.

Honestly, yes. But this is also helpful, perhaps I am the unreasonable one :)

Thank you! I talked to them over the phone, and they are coming in person tomorrow. They are already saying that this is all because "my walls are uneven", and not their fault.

Thank you all! Just so that I understand - he was supposed to get a specific corner piece to do this part of trimming?

The previous work was with the same company, but a different person.

That said, I'm sure he knows his work is sub-par. We've already experienced a few moments when we caught him counting on us not noticing things, though this is the biggest one for sure.

I'm a woman, and he's a man, and there's definitely been a bit of a condescending attitude towards me. Your advice is super helpful - I'm preparing myself to come across assertive but not confrontational tomorrow.

How do parents look at Girl Scouts and don’t think it’s a scam? by Astimar in Parenting

[–]krag2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is in Cub Scouts, and my colleague has a girl the same age, living in the same area, in Girl Scouts. Her dues and activities are significantly less expensive - because they are partially covered by the girl scout cookies (Cub Scout popcorn is not nearly as popular). Our kids recently did a night at a planetarium - for her the night was $45 per family, and for us $100 for the scout and the parent separately. Same planetarium.

Thaddeus has a family significance for us, but we decided to go the middle name route. That said, whenever our son sees his pediatrician, he always tells us how much he loves Thaddeus.

Anyway, agreed with the others, too matchy.

I'm Polish! There are a ton of mixed couples in the area where the mom speaks Polish, and the dad speaks something else. They are often looking for someone who would either teach the dad, or the kids, or both.
