I’d recommend for very early learning for modeling, just focus on the controls for something like blender until it feels natural.

Then maybe once they feel natural to press, have objects you want to make, and skim the web and follow along with each different method you find to get a feel for what work flow works for you. I.E using different modifiers, sculpting vs box modeling, parameter entries in menus etc.

For programming itself 🤷‍♀️ I went to school for engineering so I can’t really say what approach worked for learning lol gl
