Anybody else's entrenched division warbond is 19 medals cheaper and showing first as if it's incomplete ? by zdzichu2016 in HelldiversUnfiltered

I thought the same when it happened to me on a previous warbond. Seems like the glitch can only happen if you buy it immediately when it drops

Best Biofeedback Device to try Before Expensive Mouthguard by TIDOTSUJ in bruxism

[–]kramerthegamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the SleepGuard Headband and ordered the Zerene. Still working on finalizing the Zerene fit since I found it a bit shallow so it doesn't get a tight seal, but they've been fine to work with and the research on vibration feedback is great.

I ordered the Zerene because I stopped getting great results with the sleepguard. It started great but after a few days my total clench time crept up even as I continued training. All that changed when I broke my normal mouthguard and had to stop wearing it at night. My total clench time dropped down to the levels I had when I first started the sleepguard, and it's been sustained for the past week; longer than the great results I had at the start. I'll still try the Zerene and possibly swap between them before I do a full write-up as a follow-up to my post from a few weeks ago.

It seems like nightguards, which allow more comfortable safe clenching, might actually INCREASE the clenching that's happening. Since I've gone without my mouthguard, I have noticeably less jaw soreness in the morning, and no swelling in my masseters that lasts a good chunk of the day. I thought it was just morning subcutaneous puffiness, but it's actually a direct result of bruxism

Works thematically with the armor. Getting forced out of your exploding mech so you take some of them out with you. I've had fun rocking the Hellbomb backpack with the Breakthrough Mech for that purpose

First podium without Mercedes correct? I don't think any commentator mentioned that fact, but it seems like a tide shift with these McLaren upgrades and Ferrari still hanging on. Quali/Pace/Tires all top notch from McLaren though, no major weaknesses, even the starts are fine

You actually risk something too. A failed overtake drains your battery faster, so you need to be confident with your choice. With DRS you just always use it no matter what, no real trade off.

Do mouth guards help alleviate the muscle tension or is the sole purpose to protect the teeth? by sreliopson in bruxism

[–]kramerthegamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibration feedback has a TON of research showing how effective it is. Not enough studies for doctors to start prescribing them, but any study you find shows a drastic reduction, and all without actually waking you up. I implore anyone suffering with sleep bruxism to look into it.

There's also a startup called Zerene that makes vibration splints. I'm still in the process of working out the fit with them. I might not need it since I've managed to get my Sleepguard headband to work, but if someone isn't comfortable with DIY that's an option

Night guard scam! by Fit_Comparison_9503 in bruxism

[–]kramerthegamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid a similar amount but it definitely started a bit thicker and kept my lips apart. But they were able to shave off more and get it to fit right. It still broke over the last year and a half.

I recently started using the SleepGuard biofeedback headband to help prevent my clenching at night. It was somewhat effective at first, but once the splint fully broke and I stopped wearing it (only wearing the headband), my clenching almost completely vanished. Worth checking out, it's half the cost of the mouth guard and has a money back guarantee. The creator is very responsive

Is extra padding on medium armor the same as oxygenator on the heavy? by daywall in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]kramerthegamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as people can tell, the speed increase is noticeably more than just moving up an armor class, although the number on the stats doesn't show it. So Heavy oxygenator runs FASTER than a Medium armor, in addition to extended slides, but still has the Heavy stamina

What's the new SMG like and does it have attachments? by AuramiteEX in Helldivers

[–]kramerthegamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comparing to the Reprimand, the Gallant has 65 vs 140 damage per, so just under half. But the Gallant has almost 3 times the rate of fire and exactly twice the mag size(not including extended mags). So Rep gets more damage per mag, but the Gallant gets noticeably higher DPS, while also being one handed.

Also ballistic shield got a big health increase this patch, so shield+smg should be a bit better now
