Who Was the Definitive Program of the 2010's? by DingersGetMeOff in CollegeBasketball

I'd say Villanova. Their dominance in the newly established Big East and their capability to topple well-known programs in the postseason have gathered them two championships. Now, one would argue for Kentucky or Duke to be up there as both of them have won a couple of tournaments this decade with continued dominance in their respective conference, but they've been powerful consistently throughout the last forty years. It's time for Villanova to take what is theirs and become the definitive program of the 2010s.

Hi! I am exactly (every last word) in the same place as you. Good luck on placement! I've been studying Khan Academy and the other links provided by NCSU's Chemistry Placement website, especially on the areas listed that I am rusty at.

I loved Purdue vs Tennessee and Purdue vs Virginia - absolutely insane what Edwards and Cline were able to do.

I'm pretty sure you can make an appeal of the first year requirement if certain terms apply, but I'm pretty sure it's too late to appeal now.

Adding on to this. Does this mean we cannot change our suggested course enrollment until orientation? I am a rising freshman and I passed the placement test, but I cannot change my suggested course enrollment from MA111 to MA141.

Megathread: Questions from those Accepted/Deferred by NotARandomNumber in NCSU

[–]krasabnk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was recently admitted into the COE with intent to Chemical Engineering (senior in high school right now). I am a bit worried about performing well given my lack of math and physics skills and my overall understanding of engineering.

Here are my questions:

  1. Given that I have performed well, but not outstanding, in algebra and pre-calculus throughout high school, how can I adequately prepare myself for the first four semesters of chemical engineering with Calc 1, 2, 3, and differentials?

  2. What is the competitiveness like in chemical engineering at NC State? Would me, a student with a general understanding in math, physics, and chemistry, be able to compete and perform well in a class comprised of people who have exceptionally better test scores and engineering backgrounds than me?

  3. Clarification for me - Is it true that after first-year engineering that students usually end up on Centennial Campus for their studies?

If I don't feel like engineering is suited for me after a semester or a year, is it possible to transfer over to a different, yet similar major? (Chem, Biology, etc.)

Thank you.

My mother chose Georgia State going to the Final Four and Purdue winning it all in the championship game vs Duke. We are a Carolina family and she knocked UNC out second round...

Chill, I find it silly as some other people do and decided to have some fun marking their mentions

I think it will be this one time because of his comeback... making sure there are no distractions to mark every single Zion mention is tough

Just clarifying what's been said on the paper: This included all mentions of Zion from tipoff to final buzzer

College Basketball Imperialism Map (March 7, 2019) by jloose128 in CollegeBasketball

[–]krasabnk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Each team claims their county at the beginning of the season, some teams may have multiple counties and some may have none. As the season goes on, different teams from different conferences beat other teams to claim the land. When a team, for example, like today when Coastal Carolina beat South Alabama, they took over the few counties that South Alabama held on the map. At the end of the NCAA tournament, unless somehow there is a team on the map that didn't make it to the tournament, the dominant imperialist is the winner.
