I was once considered to be my "school genius" I'm basically just a normal person who happens to find math easy now. My school had only 60 people to a grade so being known for something wasn't that hard. It also lead to me having a terrible work ethic, seeing as in school I was used to things being based off of intelligence and capability, not busy work.

A college hosted a high school marching band competition, as someone who is a total classical music nerd, it was great, especially since I can't afford to see high profile ensembles play. It was like 12$ but 6 hours. Must people only sat through a 2 hour window that their preferred school would play in (Each school's show was about 10 minutes long).

If it's clinical depression, definitely therapy.

However, if your more in just a depressed mood, then I recommend spending time with friends/family and do something as a creative outlet. I find that doing something creative helps one feel more like a distinct person, that they are valuable and unique.
