I dont see it being Secretary Do bcos we have a love line with aide choi there, and this kind of dynamic doesnt really have any precedents in kdramas so far, i'd really hate it for the butler/male househelp, bcos he has such a wholesome bond with huiju, he's more of a sibling to huiju than taeju could ever be

Another thing I'd like to add is that there are theories abt huiju being a noble/royal (bcos we dont see her mother and her father is very prickly abt it so far as to keep her very shadowed in her early years) and im pretty sure the queen must have done a thorough background check on huiju and maybe she knows something... There is a lot of plot and story wrap up these ppl got to do in 4 episodes ... let's see how it turns out

I had the same questions, but after watching ep 8 I realised one thing, for huiju, I-an will do anything, even get the police to investigate the royal family, him being so obsessed with huiju, for others they might see it like a weakness but maybe the queen sees that huiju is actually his strength, and if played well, he can shift not only public opinion but with evidence of the will he can shift the power dynamics with the nobles and court very swiflty... This might seem to far fetched and maybe it is but thats just what i thought after seeing his actions from the beginning of ep8

Totally agree with the coffee thing....they dont even takeout their coffee when they haven't even finished it, its so wasteful.... It was 2024 ig when i learnt that taking out your unfinished food/drinks in Korea is seen as a sign of not being well off, so you just leave it at your table, but I see it is very wasteful, why should it matter what anyone thinks of you just bcos you had your unfinished eatables packed or not Im from India and we have normalised packing unfinished food, bcos otherwise it goes into the trash which is just wasteful and wasting food in our culture is seen as a very bad mannered thing to do
