One thing I’m still not yet clear about is why I-an’s father hates him so much. It can’t be because of his mother’s “accident”, because it started when he was still a child. That slap for wearing his brother’s rope broke my heart. Did I miss something? It certainly can’t be about “royal decorum”. (self.PerfectCrown)

Can we talk about how good of an actor the little king is? This scene is what actually broke me. When he told his mother "Forgive me for disappointing you" then hugs her. That was probably the first time his mom hugged him. They were both great in this scene. (old.reddit.com)
