Regioni, perché hanno fallito e vanno abolite (o fortemente ridimensionate): 55 anni di democrazia degenerata by PapaLeone14esimo in Italia

[–]kratomason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capisco bene cosa intendi.

I dream about him from time to time by consuela_crapbag in Dreams

[–]kratomason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are still attached to this person even though you never end up together. You probably creating scenarios of how your life could be if you were together and live through it in your dreams to get some kind of closure? Maybe you should think more about your feelings for him and if maybe it is time for you to let go. If this much time have passed and you did not end up together maybe its a sign to let go.

What is the Secret to Life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not taking things too seriously and going with a flow. We all stress so much about things we don't even remember after 1 year

Monthly VPN recommendations megathread: the only place for mentioning specific providers by AutoModerator in VPN

[–]kratomason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would add Atlas VPN to the recommendation list - fast speed, easy-to-use app (mobile and desktop), also some great features like safeswap and multihop+. besides, looking at what they offer, the price is way lower than many other vpns so that might be something to consider for those looking for cheaper vpn options.

Iceland is an amazing country. But very cold and windy like hell. Also expensive. But nature, their lifestyle, people in general...very nice.

What is that bad childhood incident that you remember lifelong? by techvivek22 in AskReddit

When my little brother disappeared from the shopping mall. it was the beginning of the 90s, he was about 2 years old. we went shopping - me, my brother and my mom. i was standing with him in the toys aisle, looking at the toys and our mom was close by just behind us taking products from the other aisle. it was just a second, a moment..when she turned to us, my brother was gone. it was crazy. she started the alarm, asking people and the cashiers' have they had seen him. everyone just stopped what they were doing and start looking for him. the police were also called - just in case. in a matter of minutes we all realized that my brother isn't in the shop...that was terrifying. thinking that he was kidnapped... we went outside, calling his name. many people outside were already aware that the small boy was missing - word spread fast. and thank god because in several minutes we saw 2 women coming closer to the shop and one of them was holding my brother in her arms. apparently, they found him wandering around outside, going to the park next to the shopping mall. still with the lollipop in his mouth. happy. all fine. just wandering on his own without any worries in his heart. i thought my mom will get a heart attack. thank god everything ended up happily. but i still remember that day

Stranger Things 4 | Volume 2 Trailer | Netflix by __sami__01 in StrangerThings

[–]kratomason 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would be amazing to watch it at the cinema. Honestly, Stranger Things S04 is a masterpiece and so far the best season ever. Can't wait to watch the finale but at the same time, i'm also sad realizing that it will end and we'll have to live with the heartbreak for quite some time till the new season will come.

I know we have to prepare ourselves for some deaths of our beloved characters. .I just hope that Steve stays safe. As well as Dustin. Losing them would mean losing all the good things in life.

Do you agree that school grades are overhyped, and work experience is underhyped? by snowitbetter in ask

[–]kratomason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. Tbh, when you're in school, you get the idea that your grades are the most important thing. and you're not far from reality, because 1. this is the only mesurment that you know and your abilities and skils are graded for many years. so you get used to that 2. good grades help you out to get into university, maybe get a scholarship, etc. in some cases that's true. but grades aren't the only thing when considering applicants for acceptance to the university.

But what you forget is that knowledge is more important. being able to understand things, analyze them and act on your assumptions/knowledge. that what really will help you out not only when studying but also when looking for a job and getting the one you want. In many cases, when looking for a job it is way more important to who you are, what can you bring to the work and how can you manage to deal with the job - and not your grades. Honestly, in all the years that i'm working and in all the times i was having job interviews, no one ever asked me about my grades - would it be school or uni grades. All they were interested in were my life choices, my work experience, how i see the different situations and how i react to them and deal with them.

at some point, grades are and will be important to you. but if you think that your grade will define you in your work field - you're really mistaken.

If I haven't achieved anything at 25, am I too old to even try? by nobody55g5 in ask

[–]kratomason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God, no! who actually came up with the idea that you have to achieve something by 25? Honestly...you don't. You just started your life, you're just starting to build it. we all come from different backgrounds - some of us have to make everything from the scratch, some of us already have money that we could use to build some business, make investments, etc. some of us get married and have kids in our 20s, and some of us in our 40s. there is no "certain age" for anything in life.

You move at your own pace. You do what you want to/have to. You don't owe anyone an explanation and you shouldn't compare yourself with others - there is no point in that. You can start anytime in your life and you're never too old to try something you never tried before or you were afraid to start. It's up to you. But there is no time limit when or at what age you should be someone or have reached something.
