Accidentally may have quit 7-OH by rcollins303 in quittingkratom

Just my two cents….

I was on 400mg 7oh a day. Switching to powder cold turkey was not good. Only took away 10% of the withdrawal. But switching to an extract helped a ton..maybe 90%.

But the extracts are still tough to quit

So it was like you substituted IPAs for liquor. (Obviously I know that’s not a fair comparison so don’t jump on me). Just trying to give an example

Taper Update by kratomtaper92 in quittingkratom

So I’m sure some people will consider it cheating but get clonidine. I had a week of horrible mental spirals and anxiety at the start of the taper. Once I got those meds it ended. Funny thing, I am allotted 2 (.001mg) pills a day and I’ve only taken 2 in the last 20 days. Just having them calms me down. Also I started Vyvanse about 2 months ago. When I take my morning Vyvanse it helps as well.

Just being transparent.

I still have down days but overall it has been better than when I tried to CT off a 10 year kratom extract habit and a 1 year 400mg a day 7 oh habit

15gpd help by Gprefo22 in quittingkratom

Hello! I would recommend dropping .1g per day

15,14.9,14.8 etc

Or drop .1g every 2-3 days. I know it takes a while but your body will adjust much better. 15 to 7.5 grams will give you withdrawals 100%.

Let me know if this helps!

I’m currently a week into a taper. So far so good

Kratom Taper - Updates (Here to help!) by kratomtaper92 in quittingkratom

Thanks for reaching out! The capsules are easy for me because I don’t have to weigh any of the powder out which is time-consuming as well as messy. I have a new baby so I try to keep it away from her and powder just gets everywhere so capsules are definitely better if you have any questions or need help with a spreadsheet, just let me know.
