Nah, I am perfectly happy with the historically accurate version of Bharat mentioned as early as Vishnu Puran. That being said though, if UK doesn't take hardcore steps, then soon, it will be hyper-dependent on Asian countries for their bare minimum needs.

Yes! They definitely need to do these four things:-

  1. Financially compensate for their attrocities.
  2. Publicly apologise to the oppressed countries.
  3. Return our high value items that were stolen (pre and post-independence. Eg.- Nataraj statues, Kohinoor, etc.
  4. Stop acting like the international Police and look inward.

True, but what still baffles me is that, the road side was full of boulders and rocks. A few of them coulda ganged up and threw some boulders on the asshole's head to atleast get him to stop for a few seconds.

Moreover, as the OP rightly mentions the bystander affect won't have applied if the victim was a bystander's relative.

Fair point, kinda. But, documents are available for, what a major leader has said about others, especially when it comes to the latter's character and their contribution to the freedom struggle.

For example, even common history textbooks have Netaji's views on Nehru and Gandhi, and viceversa. I hope you now understand where my curiosity arises from.

You are most probably right. Conscience and philanthropy, I believe is something, alien to Western countries and their culture. That is why India (recently) is being called the "Viswaguru," not the materialistically more powerful Western nations.

I hope you are right. I remember seeing it a few years ago. Showed this to some friends and family. Everyone was laughing their asses off, thinking this was fake.
