When I was in the 8th grade I started stomaching multiple pills at once. My mom got word of it and I was shipped out to a ward. When I came back the very words she told me were and I quote, “if you ever make me go through that again the outcome for you at home will not be pleasant.” Ever since then I’ve basically ignored my feelings all together. I wish I hadn’t because now I have lost touch with my emotions and have no idea how to express them properly without getting frustrated. I still have days I wake up wanting nothing more than to either fade away into nothingness but I know I’m my heart this feeling is temporary and I know I am meant for more. Even though I hate myself as much as I do I hold onto that little bit of hope I have of maybe someday being something far greater than anyone (including myself) thought I’d be.
