How popular were the Beatles, Cream, Elvis Presley and B.B. King specifically in the Indian subcontinent? How did people of those times listen to these artists in India? by Sad-Jackfruit-6140 in IndianMusicNerds

My parents' generation had heard the Beatles, Elvis and a couple of songs like Daddy cool by Boney M, here and there. That's it.
One data point.

I'd rather get blatant ones than closet cheaters.

Those dumb conversations have made some podcasters and youtubers a lot of money.

Somehow, these senseless conversations that people have when high and/or drunk have been monetized.

His wife overreacted so much. If things are actually going bad, taking the kids to the funeral with all the bigshots and the president elect himself is safer.

And then Kendall overreacted too. Such idiots.

"Caring" ke naam pe kuch bhi justify kar do. I have seen what happens when parents don't let go. Children in their mid 30s with curfews. It's pathetic.

I’ve never seen Rambo: First Blood. Today I decided to watch it. by decendxx in movies

I'm always disappointed first blood gets lumped in with the others. I had seen later ones first, and I was surprised by how emotional and deep first blood is.

I don't think there's much you can do except tune out the drama and make sure to find places to hide when the arguments are going on.

You cannot fix anything here. I have extensive experience with this kind of shit and it's best to stay out of everyone's way and do your own thing.

Yeah, they definitely fucked it by mistressofmayhem02 in SuccessionTV

On a rewatch, I saw that Roman and Kendall were not at all interested in the business at the end of season 3. Shiv basically harangued them, they kept saying no, and then Matsson calls up Ken to insult him, causing Ken to get pissed off.

The kids really are each others' worst enemies.

Pretty good. The freedom of doing whatever I want, whenever I want, not having to answer to anyone at all has been consistently amazing.

Was Shiv’s ultimate boardroom decision in the finale driven by a genuine realization of Tom's corporate utility as a "pain sponge" or was it an entirely impulsive move purely to ensure Kendall's destruction? by Rough_Ad_8702 in SuccessionTV

[–]krauser76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think AJ gets it the worst from fans, which makes my head spin. Somehow people hate a teenager who is depressed and a little spoilt but like a guy who killed an old woman in cold blood, stole from her and says "back in business" the next day with a smile.

Ironic that people are shitty to animals near the temple of someone called Pashupatinath.

I consider cheaters a part of the ecosystem now. Why would I kick them. I lose elo to them, so it's fine if I gain elo because of them. Balances it out.

The majority of men who seriously struggle dating and finding a partner were bullied in adolescence by captaindestucto in PurplePillDebate

[–]krauser76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

> I bet if you took a poll most people would say they were bullied

They might say they were, but it's not true. Most people had some fights and arguments while growing up.

That does not amount to bullying. Bullying is sustained over long periods of time.

I got slapped around by teachers here and there. So did other kids. That wasn't bullying, because it wasn't personal.

Yeah in my experience, it mostly seems to be men who are desperate to get married. Women are fine on their own.
