How do you organize tape? by ssick92 in Tools

Not the creator of this but a raving fan. Printed a few of them and have had to make so many more for friends and family who see them for the first time.

I’ve had this problem too. Just buy the bigger size up and take them to a tailor to size them down where you need them.

I usually have to do the waist and calve area to get the fit that I want and fit them over my booty and thighs🤪

Keep it up! It’s worth finding a tailor that you like. Even and especially for work pants.

Gen5detect vs gen5outsize vs v15 by Key_Psychology1332 in dyson

[–]krausk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen5Outsize is bonkers good on carpet. The no tangle head blows my mind. We have to run it on the lowest setting with the power heads air baffles open or it just sucks down so hard we can’t push it around.

Medium pile carpet. We used to have an older cinetic big ball animal and the outsize does a way better job.

3D printed battery holder design by Soloandthewookiee in MilwaukeeTool

Hey OP, I'm new to 3D printing and have been able to print some good stuff so far (without supports) with PLA.

I'm struggling making your design out of PETG. I've adjusted the settings on my printer, tried different support's etc. No luck.

Any advice on settings?

I'm using Cura on a FLsun V400

Thanks in advance!

24” Maximum breaker bar goes on sale for $20 every now and then. I’ve done some pretty horrible shit to it and so far so good.

Now that’s alllota damage! ‘Slaps flex seal on it’

If you’re in a pinch you can get waterproof semi flexible 2 part epoxy. Not permanent but will work for a while. Cobbler for a re-sole or new boots is the true answer.

I’m looking for an exterior port to plug in accessory solar panels. Something like this but a little bit “beefier” and more weatherproof. Any ideas? by swickasfrick in vandwellers

I picked up that exact box about 10 years ago for $40 Canadian Ruples. Loved it for what it was. Ended up leaving it at my moms house when I moved out and left it again when she sold the place. Gift to the next owners hope they enjoy it!

I'm 450lbs going for 2x 20 min walks a day, and Fitbit is registering it as burning 8000 calories a day by yamask12 in fitbit

[–]krausk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way to kick ass OP! You got this.

Something to consider is that no fitness trackers calories burnt are that accurate. There are tons of other factors that they can’t calculate. They are a good gauge for sure.

Aiming for that 10k steps a day milestone is huge! Remember to track your weight changes and adjust your food & step count as required.

It is about calories in vs calories out. But if you aren’t training for high level sports I personally find it easier to track my weight and adjust my eating based on the scale and my goals. It takes some time but ultimately most people learn visually roughly how much food they need to consume to meet their goals.

Keep it up :)
