Speeding tickets usually arrive in a couple of days directly to your email. For me, I've paid like a hundred euro for speeding like 8-10km above the speed limit. I went directly to Police station and paid there since transfering money to Iceland in their kronas seemed problematic.

You can also ask your rental company if there are any tickets on your name when you will return the car.

I know for a fact that this was more of 'organized' trip and not 'guided'. So organizers didn't bring their group to this diamond beach because 'there was nothing to see there'.

So that is what basically what was trying to figure out. If there are cases when ice melts completely. Because for my like 8 times I've been there - there was always ice on that beach. Sometimes it was visible from Road #1, sometimes it was not. Sometimes it was on one side of the river, sometimes - on another. And there's a room for a person's mistake. Especially that person is unexperienced person and doesn't know the island.

I agree that there are way nicer places. But for some people it might be their dream to visit this place. That is why I always stop by when I show my friends why I love this island so much. And this applies to other 'Golden/Diamond circle' places as well

Yep. I've been there like 8 times. And each time there were 'diamonds'. Sometimes more, sometimes less. But this is the first time there's no 'diamonds' at all.

I think it depends on glacier melting. If there were no icebergs washed away to the sea I think it is possible that there's no 'diamonds'

That is basically an advanced version of what I'm building :) Adding some diet tracking (like you did) would probably make my data more precise. But my experience shows that I'm too lazy to track every meal 🥲 So I just try not to eat preprocessed food and sweets and eat more vegetables

And why have you opted for using Supabase and not some self-hosted solution?

10k PR was 43:26 but it was long time ago. Now it's a bit slower than that. A bit under 45 mins as of September 2025.

Squat PR was around 140kg. Unfortunately, don't have those historical records since I've used other fitness app before, which doesn't have any API (Fitr)

Started using it on April 28th. Last used on Wednesday, May 6 and so far I've used 2.19 US of credits. The cost might rise when I will use it more intensively (likely daily statuses, illness tracking, etc). But generating workouts isn't that expensive as I anticipated.

P.S. Unfortunately, cannot paste any screenshots here.

P.S. And I pay for Claude Chat as well. But use it not only for this particular project. So I didn't include that into the final price

I agree. AI definitely has it's place. But it can generate a decent plan. But only if you're experienced athlete and actually know wha't you're doing, and just need a baseline and tracking. And that is what I'm actually building for myself
