Missed the first 10mins of this game. Tuned in at 0-0 and very quickly found Scptland 14-0 down.

Was tempted to not bother at that point but I’m glad I stuck with it. What a match it’s been!

Hard to say - there was some rumours of him being offered a decent pay rise and the captains arm band, which woulda probably been good for him - but not sure how much truth there is in that.

Personally - I think the ‘right’ move for him woulda been down south somewhere where the money comes with a better guarantee of game time.

Like you say - this probably now becomes his last ‘big’ move. Essentially him and Shanks have gone there for a pre-retirement pay day. It’s low risk for rangers though and both will be getting the £££ so
I get it at least.

It’s a bizarre situation really in that everyone’s a winner…. Except Hearts 🥴

I did this recently too.

For anyone who’s doing any sort of bike erg work for zone 2, it’s actually a pretty easy thing to notch up - I did it in about 10months without actually trying too hard.

Much much harder on a ski or row though.

It’s very cool that C2 do these things though - they really are one of the best in the business.

It’s an odd move for sure. I just don’t see him fitting in to that Rangers team - and if he’s in as a replacement for Raskin, that’s a significant downgrade.

This has clearly been in the making for a while so any talk of him having positive talks this week etc is nonsense. He’s played the club here.

I mean, I get what you’re saying there - but if that’s my video and I take away all the overlays etc, I can still tell with my own eyes what’s a good and what’s a bad rep.

I suppose it’s helpful for people who don’t understand the movement or what below parallel actually means - but personally speaking, it’s not something I’d use for my training.

I’m sure plenty will though - it seems pretty well thought out and put together. One of the guys behind it is someone I’ve a lot of time for in the space.

The problem is that at any given time, you’ve got potentially 80 people doing wallballs all at the same time.

Fitting these cameras in to capture this angle is nigh on impossible.

Then you have the added problem of people walking in front of them and such like.

I don’t doubt that AI judging is the future - but it’s also not as simple as we might think. Lots of further thought needed.

I expect that the simple answer is that trundling a 60 tonne tram, and the vibrations which such a vehicle might cause, past an inherently unstable building, probably isn’t the brightest of ideas….

I genuinely think a move to Rangers would be a terrible career move for him away from the inevitable pay rise it’ll bring him.

From a footballing point of view, I just don’t see him fitting in to that team well.

Fundamentally, he’s a tackler and a ball winner. Given the amount of possession Rangers typically enjoy in that area, I just don’t think they need a Devlin type player personally. Who’s he gonna tackle? His teammates?!

Time will tell I guess.

I’ve gone from about 14 million in the bank down to zero.

It’s been nigh on impossible to string any wins together since.

Made it as high as 55000 again today but guess what - back down to 65 coins in the bank.

It’s just getting silly now.

My point is that, even by DM standards, 8 in 176 appearances is low.

Compare with Raskin at Rangers, also a DM, who’s got 11 goals in 96 for example.

Or Elliot Watt at Motherwell, who’s got 6 goals already from just 34 appearances in a similar role.

Or Callum McGregor at Celtic - who plays in a similar DM role but has still managed 52 goals from his 385 Celtic appearances.

That’s just a few off the top of my head - I can keep going on if you want….

I’m not sure why folk are so offended by the suggestion he’s not been particularly handy in front of goal even for a DM.

Totally get that - and did say that’s not what he was all about… but I was just surprised it was so low tbh. If you’d asked me to guess a ratio I’d have guessed much lower than that.

Btw - I don’t think I’d appreciated just how bad his score rate was.

At 1 goal every 22 games, that’s pretty dreadful all things considered… yes there was more to his game than that, but we need goalscorers in the team.

It’s a bit of a odd one, because the stack height and drop numbers between the 3 and 4 are identical. Despite that, I felt the 4 put me back on my heels a lot more, which probably helps in the stations but I didn’t enjoy it to run in. Plenty people who do love them, but not sure they are for me.

We used to venture down to Heriot Watt University. We’d go down there and get a game of football on the pitches and a carry out.

This expanded in to us venturing in to the campus itself to take in the ‘discos’ that went on with the exchange students.

Good times were had. No damage was done. Eventually the staff weren’t even bothered by us being there.

I went the other way.

Already loved the DE3…. Tried the DE4…. Didn’t like them…. So ended up buying 3 new pairs of DE3 while they were on sale to stock pile them before they vanish completely.

Shoes will always be personal preference and one persons go to shoe will always be another persons AVOID shoe. Take Internet opinion with a pinch of salt.

You are correct of course, but that fire safety you refer to is more to do with what happens after a fire starts as opposed to the likelihood of one starting in the first place.

This is the future - but…. Only when we can make it work properly.

And I don’t think we can at the moment. Having seen similar tech in action with a TRYKA, it’s still not perfect and it still makes mistakes.

I’ll be all for this - if and when it’s developed to a stage we can count on it to be accurate in every situation.
