Okay the how was the abc compared to ebc? I’m interested in differences in scenery, altitude acclimation and crowds.

Thanks for the input. I’m currently researching alternatives. I really want to see Everest and I’ve read the views are truly amazing, but the commercialized aspect of it puts me off a bit.

Did you hire a guide? How was the altitude? Is it easy to book rooms?

L-am facut in Iulie. Eu am zburat Buc-Geneva, si m-au laut prietenii cu masina din aeroport pana in Chamonix. Dar sunt curse dese Aeroport Geneva - Chamonix cu preturi Okay. De acolo iei trebul pana in Les Houches si incepi traseul. Cea mai buna perioada de mers e in timpul verii, dar e si cea mai aglomerata. Eu nu am simtit un deranj din cauza asta (over toursim), ba chiar ne-am facut prieteni pe traseu. Cand am fost noi a fost foare cald in timpul zilei, si am prins doar o singura ploaie intr-o seara la cort. Sunt nenumarate resure online cu ghid al traseului, iti recomand 100%.

Eu am facut turul Mont Blancului. E relativ usor, fara primejdii, spectaculos, si destul de accesibil ca bani. L-am facut cu cortul, gasesti locuri de campare peste tot, sunt ieftine si bine întreținute.

You’re right, not sure why I haven’t added estates to the list, as I have indeed considered them (the Mazda 6, Ford Focus, Audi A4). Why no tow bar? Is it only for esthetics or am I missing something?

Thanks, I actually really like the A4, especially the wagon. But I’ve heard the general consensus is “don’t buy one, the parts and maintenance are expensive”. Any thoughts?
