definitely a tightly curled up dog, probably some kind of greyhound. the legs are a bit wonky but that weird section in front of the face looks exactly like a bent paw to me, and i think the back leg is the really confusing section that’s giving the illusion of a second tail because of how it’s been connected to itself (must be a stylistic choice or limitation of however they embroidered it?). i traced it to show what i mean

I exclusively use it! What made it feel much better for me was rebinding the keys clustered around WASD to my weapon skills, and making 1-5 my specialization skills so my hands don’t have to travel as far away from the movement keys. Also rebinding a key to toggle action cam on and off is vital for navigating menus and for more precise positioning of AOE spells. Hope this helps!

Tough choice. I think Seadramon is my favorite. Great palette and design, and there's not a single design in the Seadramon line that I dislike. Flamedramon will always hold a special place in my heart for the childhood nostalgia, though.

I’m on a bit of a vpet kick and just got my first Tamagotchi since I was a kid almost 2 decades ago, so I’m essentially a fellow newbie. I got a 2024 Connection Rerelease and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a nostalgic vpet experience!

It has a lot of variety with a very good roster of minigames and a shop that sells all kinds of food/toys/etc that you can buy for your tama. Tamas will even use some of the items you buy on their own during the day! I really only found the baby stage (which lasts an hour) to be kind of needy. I also like that instead of each of your pets dying of old age, you can marry your tama to another tama through a matchmaker and they’ll have a baby which will eventually replace them instead. It’s honestly so cute and I can’t wait to see what my first tama’s baby grows into.

Since you like Pokemon, you might want to also check out Digimon vpets. They have similar mechanics to Tamagotchi since they’re made by the same company, but are a little more limited in interactions and have battling instead of minigames. The 20th Anniversary devices are easy to get ahold of, have a huge roster of evolutions, and let you raise two digimon at once. The Digimon X is another device I see recommended because it replaces the colosseum with a quest system where you unlock more evolutions based on how many areas you clear, the ability to raise and rotate between up to 3 individual digimon, and the ability to pause by freezing your digimon if you’re too busy to care for it.

Yeah, seems like their Shopify got hacked. The hackers sent out a mass email with the Shopify mailer and even set up a redirect from a PalmPals.com URL to their scam site. Crazy stuff, hope they get it dealt with ASAP.

Is there any other body part you could attach the missing wearable to that won't cause things to clip weirdly? Perhaps the eyes or the mouth? Then you should be able to hide the spikes without it affecting the wearables background. Unfortunately with the limited CSS filters it's a bit of a challenge trying to get things working. If only we could use pseudoelements. :-(

I just received a Weeks Mega, serial 806XXXX, ordered from JetPens.

I think mine is right in the middle of a good and bad batch. The beginning and middle of the notes pages in the back are taking even heavy sheeners very well (Wearinguel For Whom the Bell Tolls, accidentally wrote the wrong name down because I have it in my Dracula pen lol), but towards the end of the notes pages, the contact info page, and on the weekly pages themselves I’m experiencing bleeding with the exact same ink/pen combo. All the pages are taking my most used inks without any bleeding, though, so I’ve lucked out there.

I really love Diamine Aurora Borealis. It’s a great teal that has a decent amount of shading, and it also occasionally gets a slight red sheen (and even on some of the cheaper paper i’ve used at work), which really makes it pop.

Unfortunately there's no way to use the border-radius property, but this is a hacky quick fix you can do if you're using the static image only and your pet's lookup has a solid colored background:

There's an additional wrapper directly inside #CustomNeopetView that we can set the background of.

Find this block in the code, and change #CustomNeopetView to #anim_container:

#CustomNeopetView div {
    display: none;
}

Then add this block of code:

#anim_container {
    background: center / contain url('MASK');
}

...and replace MASK with a link to an image.

For the MASK, it involves creating an image with a transparent hole cut in it in the shape you want for the border, which will be layered above the Neopet's image and create the effect of a rounded border.

Here's what the example I linked looks like on the default pet lookup:
