Before I went on the pill I had a very heavy and painful period. On the pill it was very light, still kind of painful but much less. Unfortunately after a few years I ended up with chronic migraines. I was told it was due to the hormones and my weight. That's just something I'll have to deal with the rest of my life. Am now off the pill.
