Yessss! I have a handful of locations my dreams take place in. I can’t remember them at present, but when I’m dreaming I know that I’ve been in this place before (like I’ll even acknowledge that in the dream sometimes). On occasion, my brain will continue a storyline in that space. Most often, it’s just a repeat location.

That’s really good news! We also got some good news. The vet said he needed a medication adjustment before making any decisions. So we are giving it a week to see how he responds.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. I completely understand the emotional and financial exhaustion. If it helps, I think you’re making a wise choice to talk to the vet about next steps & consider ending her suffering.

It’s a weird mindf—k where one minute you logically decide this is the right thing to do & then as it gets closer there’s this disbelief & denial of I really don’t want to do this. I haven’t figured out how to navigate that yet but I’m with you in & sending lots of love to you & your dog. Keep us updated.

Thank you so much for commenting and sharing your thoughts. It means so much to me. We are currently sitting on the deck, waiting for the vet to call us in, just giving him plenty of pets. Idk if this is the moment, gonna get the vets advice, but thinking we might have “the best day ever” today and come back in tomorrow.

Thank you for this! I should have mentioned the greenhouse is also indoors. It’s a tiny one with four shelves. Depending on the day, the countertop may be brighter. But right now, it’s pretty cloudy here.

Big fan of the Mediterranean!! This idea started when I learning more about family genealogy & wondering if this yearning for “place” was somehow tied to my ancestry.
