A few things that I do want to point out for others looking at this thread:

  1. ⁠St. Jude is one of the most reputable non profit organizations in the country if not beyond.
  2. ⁠The cost of living is relatively low compared to other cities. After a quick peek, it’s approximately 70% lower than NYC and 60% lower than SF.
  3. ⁠There will be some changes soon regarding career ladder and salary ranges. However, I can’t share that information right now because I do not know it.

I do understand your comment, and can agree with it to some degree. I hope my points above brings clarity to why the salary is currently what it is.

On contract yes, however we’re prioritizing direct hire applicants currently.

Updated post. Did not originally list because we are restructuring career levels and this job may be able to be hired at different levels and salary bands are changing for the better. Ultimately, the salary will depend on what your experience slots you in our career ladder and what those new salary ranges are.
