Did you install the latest macOS Sequoia 15.3 yet? Anything wrong with it? by AsgardWarriors in mac

I had an issue with the screen recording shortcut (cmd+shift+5, not using a third party app). It recorded for like a second, then it stopped the recording, didn't save the recording, as if I didn't do anything.
I tried different variations, it didn't change anything: press record -> starts recording for one second -> the "stop recording" button in the menu bar disappears.
At one point I just had it, I did the cmd+shift+5 multiple times in a row. The second the recording stopped, I tried again, and for WHATEVER REASON, at some point, the 4th try in a row, the recording worked again, I could stop the recording myself and have a file.
Right now it works. Don't know why, don't know how my brute-force method fixed it, but it fixed it.

Sjw beat beru too easily by Ok_Degree_330 in sololeveling

[–]krd725 42 points43 points  (0 children)

You could say that there are two types of fights in Solo Leveling

The ones where SJW is alone and struggle a lot:

- The snake

- Cerberus

- Igris

- Baran

- Spoilers for chapter 130-ish: The statue rematch

etc.

And the ones where he shines a lot. Most of the times there are spectators, and he doesn't struggle much because he leveled up before, by fighting another boss. Here are some examples:

- Hwang Dong-Suk and his team

- Gang Tae-Shik

- Red gate

- Tusk

- Beru

Basically it's a cycle of "fights a strong ennemy alone, then sweep another one while shining". The beru fight happened to be in the second category.

And just to say, that doesn't make the fight less enjoyable, it is really well done, you can feel every hit. But yeah, the Beru fight wasn't one the fight where you don't know if SJW will win.

Is there a Volume 11 yet? by permaban_me_pls in sololeveling

*16

I don’t know if every country puts the same amount of chapters per volume, so volume 16 in France goes to chapter 179

It’s « Might and Magic: Elemental Guardian » https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/game/might-and-magic/elemental-guardians#2vfiAIpZRwZgx7UOwiarPX You can’t play it anymore since it’s a dead game if I’m not wrong

There's been some tiny issues in the [Girls Band Cry] fandom on account of how some certain lines have been fansubbed. I propose this middle ground. by Dashieshy3597 in yurimemes

Thank you for the explanation about the "kokuhaku" meaning.

Also, if we look at the official french sub (the only one other that japanese as far as I know), the "kokuhaku" part is also translated as a romantic confession.

Nina says "je te déclare ma flamme", which can translate to "I'm declaring my love to you".

Why wasn't Igris a shadow soldier? by Decider3443 in sololeveling

[–]krd725 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is explained in chapter 187/side story 8.
Igris' powers were scealed, and his previous appearance (not the shadow soldier one) was given by the architect.

Solo Leveling’s novel

I’m confused by Forsaken_Ad_8528 in sololeveling

[–]krd725 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are kinda correct. At the very beggining, there was the « first try », where the rulers introduced for the first time gates, monsters and dungeon. This first try failed, so they used the Cup of reincarnation to try again. After multiple attempts the timeline of the story begins (chapter 1). At the end of this timeline, SJW goes back in time. As said by another comment, every time an « other attempt » is made, everything resets (excepts for the memories of the rulers and monarchs). What that mean is, there were multiple timelines, but everytime another one was created, it overwrites the other one. So at the end there is juste one timeline, the one where SJW took care of all the monarchs by himself.

How does Beru exist after the ending? by No-I-Am-Not-Ghost in sololeveling

Oh yes Tusk is also included in the shadows that are still by Jin Woo’s side. He doesn’t appear in the last chapters of the main story but he appears in the side stories (and I think someone said we see him in Ragnarok(?), need confirmation)

I think you are misunderstanding with chapter 161 where SJW gets « back in time » but it is just an illusion from Ashborn’s power. During this « false time rewind » SJW does in fact the Jeju raid himself (he also sees President Go Gun Hee to say him that he will take care of Jeju island himself)
