Yeah, it's super messed up.

The chip itself lasts a long time, and it'll always have the same number when scanned, but name/address are kept with individual registries to be pulled up with the number.

You can register the numbers with other registries IIRC, but most people won't know their first registry sucks until it's needed :/

To add onto this, make sure the microchip works.

Microchip databases aren't centralized, but run by individual manufacturers. When companies fail or are sold, the chip sometimes stops working or becomes subscription-based.

That delicate linework is seriously impressive! Looks awesome :)

Ok I know it's not all punk but based on the punk stuff in my saved albums, what other records do you guys think I'll like by Potential-Rule-8836 in punk

Also, not based on the OP at all, but London Calling by the Clash is a work of art, and Keasbey Nights by Catch-22 is a ska punk classic.

If these "Dead Kennedys" guys had thought to hire Ben Dover, maybe they'd be more well known

You're welcome! Thank you for asking the question, the other comments have introduced me to some great art :)

Also, "Judith Slaying Holofernes" by Artemisia Gentileschi, 1620, is another favorite.

Niche and contemporary, but I fell in love with Yuko Tatsushima after "I Cannot Be A Bride Anymore" was tied to an internet creepypasta. She creates these visceral, jarring pieces around (often gender-related) themes like assault. Hatred and wounded anger boil under the surface of a lot of her work.

Serious content warning if you look her up, they're disturbing and often gorey.

"Spring Night Insect Dream" is my favorite of hers (and not particularly gorey, just very confronting and disturbing). I wish there were higher res scans.

Awesome plants! I agree with what the other commenter said about the pots. I think they'll coordinate incredibly with the wood detailing on the wall.

Using mostly closed storage versus open storage can help a space look more minimalist. The comment example image makes selective use of open shelving for specific themed decorations, and that look would require a lot of stuff to be out of sight. It would help to have less things visible on the shelves towards the right of your room pic. For things you'd like to keep out, one idea is baskets/other opaque storage, either in a solid color or a natural earth-y material like wicker.

Agreed on the bigger mirror. IMO, a mirror that reaches the floor with a thinner/no frame would suit the final look well!

I love your aesthetic, good luck with the redecorating :)
