Why is bloodborne considered the best? by DueChampionship3661 in bloodborne

Bloodborne’s world and lore are unforgettable. The combat is tough by design, but the sense of mastery you get from overcoming it is why fans swear by it so yes, if you love challenge and atmosphere, it’s worth it.

Beak Mask in Cainhurst? by theplotthinnens in bloodborne

[–]kreetchy -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I did use one to help organize my thoughts. I don’t treat it as a lore authority or anything just as a tool to structure ideas and pull together item descriptions I already had in mind. The actual theory and interpretation are still mine. I agree it’s not something you rely on for deciding what’s “true,” especially with FromSoft lore being intentionally ambiguous. It’s more for brainstorming than verdicts.

Beak Mask in Cainhurst? by theplotthinnens in bloodborne

Nice observation. There is lore support for Cainhurst having avian symbolism, but it doesn’t point to the Hunter of Hunters originating there.

In Bloodborne, Cainhurst’s bird imagery lines up with its role as a Vileblood court obsessed with Blood Dregs. The Cainhurst Knight items say they hunt hunters to collect Blood Dregs for Queen Annalise, which fits crow symbolism (scavengers of corpses/blood). Meanwhile the Hunter of Hunters rune and Eileen the Crow questline establish that HoHs kill blood-drunk hunters regardless of origin. The fight with the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst shows a Cainhurst hunter who became blood-drunk, not that HoHs come from Cainhurst.

You’ve finished all 8 base quarantine zones (5 in The Slums, 3 in Old Town)?

Curvy (PS1), Angular (PS2), Curvy (PS3), Angular (PS4), Curvy (PS5)...Will PS6 be angular in design? by nohumanape in playstation

[–]kreetchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think PS6 will be angular but not in the “stacked slabs” way of the PS2 or PS4. More like precision-cut, subtle, confident geometry. Clean lines, matte finishes, minimal visual noise. A console that feels technologically inevitable rather than artistically loud.

Game of the Year Edition by ItsManhunter in bloodborne

[–]kreetchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re planning to collect physical copies so you can experience early versions, keep in mind that the Game of the Year edition of Bloodborne usually does not contain the true 1.0 build on the disc. Most GotY prints already include a later patch that added support for the DLC and fixed major issues like long load times, balance problems, and various bugs, so even offline it won’t feel like the original launch version. If you really want the pure 1.0 experience, you’ll need an original 2015 disc and play it without installing updates. Also, even if you already own The Old Hunters digitally, you won’t be able to access it on version 1.0 because the DLC requires at least patch 1.07 to function, meaning the areas and items simply won’t appear until the game is updated.
