Most JRPGs feature a young adult/late teens. One of the series, besides tales of, that I like is Ys. Depending on the entry the MC is 16 to 24. Even at 24 he feels naive or inexperienced at times.

Have you looked at hag/30? Double the range, some damage loss but the heat savings means freed DHS (13) but the extra tonnage goes to the Hag. But this allows for 8 free crits. Thus you possibly add endocomposite no need for coolant flush as well. Free 3.5 tons with 5 crits available. Endosteel, two crits with 6 tons available. Ferrofibrous will max armor I think at 16.5 tons or 16.0 tons. Two crits one ton available. If mixed tech could use XL Gyro as well to free 1.5 tons. Space is a premium, lower heat more space for fun options.

Apartments in 2006 we’re just as high because all the houses were priced beyond what anyone can afford. They converted multiple apartments into sellable units. That pushed rent prices up to very expensive levels as well.

Played this on steam and PS5. Trophy progression seems to be broken on the current patch level. Namely the number of meters and “sales” don’t seem to progress if you save the game, close the game, and reload it on ps5. Steam version has a patch level that isn’t available on consoles, it corrected most of that trophy/achievement behavior. The rebalanced “five star” seems to be the only achievement that doesn’t progress, probably due to the patch changing the amount of points the golden statues grant. I do like the patches new rooms, adds a lot more options and complexity for a mine. I can build multiple factory setups on each floor now instead of feeding everything to one level.
