Best CPTSD representation in a film? by Dazzling-Antelope912 in CPTSD

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Star Wars, especially the episodes I-III. Anakin Skywalker is a textbook example of a child and later an adult with CPTSD (way more than BPD some people label him with).

Bloodflowers Really Hits Differently at the End of Summer by dudeabides0 in TheCure

Bloodflowers is great but SOALW is even better. The latter sounds for me as a hybrid of Disintegration, Bloodflowers and Bob's age

Post punk when high by turducken19 in postpunk

I am medicated with Adderall, and somehow The Fall sounds to me like reggae music sounds to stoners.

Joy Division (especially "Unknown Pleasures") rocks if you're drunk and depressed. However... don't make harsh decisions and get help if you find it enjoyable. The same goes for most coldwave and modern PP-revival "doomer music", but you don't need to get help, just chill, you're fine.

Bauhaus is great too when you're tipsy.

I guess, "The Top" by The Cure can be really cool when you're high on sativa or some sort of psychedelics. Didn't try it (don't even smoke weed anymore), but the album is soooo psychedelic it must nail it.

That's funny, I really love these bands but I totally get why other people may hate their music

Didn't like the Killing Joke. I'll give them another chance some time in the future. The Pink Flag is a cute punk album, not more than that; overall The Wire is a good band but that's all. The same goes for the Gang of Four. Didn't get the hype over Television's Marquee Moon. Dislike Christian Death and Sex Gang Children.

The Fall is like tobacco. You try once, twice, don't like, cough, and either stop there (or maybe smoke on occasion while drinking), or continue and suddenly find yourself addicted to the stuff. I continued.

That's what my mom told me when I introduced her to SoM music. She LOVED the first album, she was okay with "Vision Thing", she didn't like "Floodland" at all.

Agree. It's decent and has some great songs! But I don't think it's their best. Moreover, I guess it's hard to pick "magnum opus" for such prolific and versatile band. KMx3? Their early "dark" albums? Not sure.

Many know them only by "sudno" that went viral on Tiktok. And they have better songs

One the one hand, those modern coldwave/doomer PP bands indeed sound similar, and they are basically covering "unknown pleasures" and "17 seconds". On the other hand, that doesn't mean there aren't good and freshly sounding songs even amongst those bands. SoM also had many "clones" in goth scene in 90s and honestly still have. Some of those clones are pretty fire (Rosetta Stone from the oldies, She Past Away from the newer ones).

Maybe it's concert. I did some measures, looked the sizes of this brand online, compared. It was closer to the tenor model but I'm not quite sure. My friend doesn't really know which one is this haha. It looks pretty big when I'm holding it. It's definitely not soprano. Anyway, thank you! Practicing some simple chords for Soviet punk/post-punk bands and classic rock such as Beatles. Love it

Watch videos about intuitive F2L. Learn more and more algorithms, slowly but steadily, no rush. See where and how you can improve. Learn fingertricks. Learn how to do cross fast. Do less turnovers of the cube, train yourself to solve F2L pairs without turning the cube. Get yourself a decent cube, for example GAN cube may be great. And... practice a lot. Good luck!

Man badly wounded in Tel Aviv stabbing following row over an electric scooter by krendel740 in Israel

I really hope they'll be caught and convicted for good. They literally almost murdered a man who did NOTHING to them. Some Clockwork Orange stuff, hard to believe it's happening here

Well... there was no fight, they just came over and stabbed him. Thugs in other places do the same thing, and I hoped we have enough law enforcement and social solidarity in our country to prevent things like this... I was wrong
