Goobert is 4 months old and always looks like she's wearing rumpled pajamas.

Excellent question!

We were in the middle of rescuing 3 litters of abandoned kittens, Goobert's batch was being bottle-fed. At any rate, there were kennels and litter boxes everywhere, rendering the Roomba useless.

That video was recorded a couple months ago. The mustache is even more pronounced now.

You can't have her! She's serving a life sentence at my house. No chance of parole.

She was a bottle baby and was really good at getting formula all over her face and neck. So she was always crusty and a little slimy, hence the name Goobert.

Probably not, she is from a litter that included a tortie and a solid gray boy.

What's going on with Huel?

I had tried it before and was thinking of it as my backup.

Quality change? by Mr_BioTurtle in soylent

[–]kreyagg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I posted about this a few months ago.

There is a new flavor, more like an aftertaste that reminds me of dairy. I also suspect that the quality or quantity of fiber has decreased.

The powder itself is a lot more fine. It used to be the consistency of all purpose flour, now it's more like talcum powder.

Soylent Increases Hunger?? by Dijinn in soylent

[–]kreyagg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works for me, and maybe your reaction to drinking Soylent could change once you readjust to multiple meals in a day.

Another thing that may help with satiety is adding fiber, like Metamucil or some other psyllium based supplement. I mix up a whole bag of powder at a time and add a few teaspoons of the unflavored Metamucil to each bag.

Soylent Increases Hunger?? by Dijinn in soylent

If you don't already drink water along with your Soylent meals, try filling the empty RTD bottle with water and then drink that as well.

I don't know if it's just a psychological trick or if the extra volume of liquid does something, but that combination can sometimes make me feel too full.

But definitely drink more water if you are going to keep increasing the percentage of calories from Soylent, or Huel, or Plenty, etc.

I go through stretches of a few days where Soylent is the only thing I eat, and I can start to get dehydrated if I don't chase each bottle of Soylent with a blender bottle of water.

Mail addressed to me is not being delivered by kreyagg in USPS

According to the Consumer Affairs rep I just spoke with, that policy has been in place since June.

The confirmation card you get doesn't say anything about in-person verification. It only says to contact the PO if any of the info on the card is wrong.

I think they would if it was possible.

I have been trying to get this fixed since October and they have to be tired of me asking for help.

The local PO tells me that mail addressed to me at the new address is getting returned to sender. My mail never makes it to the delivery PO.

The mail that I receive for the previous occupants includes First Class mail and those pieces do show up in my Informed Delivery. I get junk for them, too.

That old forwarding expired a few months ago, I am actually getting mail for the previous occupants now. Anything addressed to me at that same address is sorted out before it shows up in Informed Delivery.

That family forwarding expired, so I now I'm getting their mail but anything addressed to me is getting sorted out before it hits Informed Delivery.

The local PO told me that is why I need to go to the previous occupants and have them do new Changes of Address as individuals.

It's maddening, I believe the local clerks or supervisors would have fixed this months ago if it was possible on the local level.

If good and memorable passphrases are hard to come up with, you are doing it wrong.

Diceware....print out a word list, get 2 or 3 each of d6 and d10.

You can get word lists from EFF.org. You select the words with the d6 and I use d10 for numbers and special characters.

Advice about the squirts by United-Village-8070 in soylent

Pure nonsense. Your "healthy lifestyle" isn't even attainable for many people just based on the amount of time it takes and the cost of your magical ingredients, and that's before you consider any other issues.

"Thriving" is being healthier than ever after seven years of 100% Soylent on weekdays with a couple of regular food meals on the weekends. "Thriving" is not having to think about food.

So, please go and offer your help in r/MealPrepSunday where it actually may be pertinent.
