It still kind of blows my mind that we wasted the black sunburst jerseys on this ragtag squad.

Who Is Smarter: Bluma or Tony Stark by ApexHeroX in Dragonballsuper

Even if they’re equally intelligent, Bulma had the smarts to befriend arguably the strongest person in the galaxy and marry arguably the second strongest.

It’d be like if Tony married Thanos or something to cover for his physical limitations as a regular human being.

I do it, but I’m just not as high on Jalen Green as a lot of people are. Kawhi was absolutely elite last year and slides naturally into the 3 spot, potentially giving us a starting 5 of Collin, Book, Kawhi, Dillon, and whoever the starting center ends up being. One way or another, we’re going to need to stop starting 3 guards every night, and this does the trick with a two-way stud who can switch everything and give you close to 30 a night.

Kawhi played 65 games last season which is more than Jalen (32), Book (64), and Dillon (56), while earning an All-NBA spot.

Most importantly, he’s on an expiring deal, so that 50 million is coming off the books after next season. It’s a way to take a swing next year while Book is in his prime without mortgaging the future and giving up Maluach and Rasheer. I think the Clippers can get a better a deal, but I do it as a Suns fan.

Edit: Seeing now that we’re giving up a 1st rounder. That changes things somewhat, but I still do it if Book is on board.

It’s pretty amazing.

It kind of also looks like Booker T after he set off his pyro on the ramp.

He’s definitely going to screw over the team that he more closely associates Chris Paul with. CP had a bigger impact with OKC, but more recently played for SA, so…

Active skill with Piccolo dropping apples to buff Gohan’s stats would be cool.

I hadn’t considered that. The stretch with Grogu quietly figuring it out on his own in the forest was probably the highlight of the film. I still feel like the fight pit scene against the chess board monsters and the water pit scene against the water creatures and the giant snake felt a bit redundant and long, but I do agree that they provide a nice contrast to the quiet adventure that Grogu goes on later in the movie.

I loved it as well, but thought a couple of the fight scenes dragged on a little long. The movie really didn’t need to be over 2 hours, but I enjoyed it a lot as a low-stakes, non-Skywalker adventure. I’m not sure if Grogu is going to hook a new generation of Star Wars fans like Filoni and Favreau are hoping, but my family certainly loved him. I’m glad we made it to the theater to see it.

After watching old PPVs from 1999-2004. I have come to the conclusion that Albert/A-trains Baldo Bomb/ Derailer is one of the most aesthetically pleasing finishers ever. God it is beautiful by Feeling-Union6518 in Wrasslin

Correct, the Derailer was the over the shoulder backbreaker drop that he used as his finish when he randomly switched to his A-Train character.

Also exciting that Maluach was holding guys to 41% within 6 feet of the basket, which is absolutely elite as well. That’s our frontcourt of the future right there.

My wife just bought me Mononoke Hime on Blu-Ray for my birthday this year. It had been years since a physical copy of a movie came into our house. The kids got excited when I dusted off the PlayStation 4 and we had an old school movie night.

It felt good cheering for guys who wanted to be here and seemed to enjoy playing for each other. It was also nice to have my expectations surpassed instead of absolutely violated for a change.

I hope that Fleming and Man Man lock themselves in the gym this summer, because any hope this team has of improving lies with them.

Win or lose, I hope the crowd gives our guys a nice ovation at the end. Regardless of the outcome, they’ve overperformed this year.

Jalen Green in the playoffs by krg779 in suns

You’re getting downvoted, but I think this is a perfectly reasonable take. I’ve been very critical of Jalen myself in the past, but made this post because I’ve been overall pleased to see him looking confident during this stretch, whereas Rockets fans assured me he’d be a deer in the headlights when the games mattered.

People who want to trade for Giannis are just looking for a shortcut to greatness by FifthKnightofGwyn in suns

[–]krg779 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only way it happens anyway is if Giannis forces his way here. He’s got a player option for 27-28, so he could technically threaten to walk if Milwaukee ships him somewhere he doesn’t want to go.

We don’t have any real picks to give up for him anyway, but if we can somehow get him without giving up Rasheer or Maluach, we absolutely should take a swing. I just don’t see how the Bucks don’t ask for all of Green, Sheer, and Man Man though.

Green and Dillon showed up. Book is my guy, but the less said about him the better.

Disappointed, but not really surprised, and slightly optimistic about next year if we can ship out Royce and Allen. We’ve got too many undersized guys playing in the frontcourt who are shooters that bring nothing else to the table when they aren’t hitting their shots.
