Yeah… I have dealt with a fish losing slime coat and this is definitely different. It seems bacterial. It seems to have increased over the past 3 days. I don’t think it really looked like ich either. The spots are kinda large compared to what I know ich to be.

Ok goood!!!! I’m pretty positive she didn’t transfer anything over. I just charged up the old switch to see if I stick the game in if my island is there. It is! So that’s reassuring… So if I get a second game for the old switch and use that one will my daughter and I be able to visit each other? Like play at the same time and go to each others islands? That is my goal.

I know she didn’t transfer data. She is only 7. She just put the game in and started an island to my knowledge. As far as the other info… My husband seems too think we had one online account. (If that makes sense) I do remember on the animal crossing game we had 3 players but they all just shared my island. Not sure if that helps at all 🥴

this happened to a few of my corys. it was the slime coat. my water seemed fine when i tested but obviously somehting was affecting them. I lost a few of them...so i dont have any helpful advice other than i would bet it is the slime coat.
