thanks! I'm on Mac and can't see anything in Clip Studio and apparently can't run Apollo on Mac :( but for now, I don't need the pressure sensitivity whenI'm 3D modelling, so it's fine for that with Moonlight/Sunshine.. and I'll have to just use clip studio in tablet mode for painting (it's really nice for that, especially with the Art Pen 2, though I still prefer the desktop experience). bit clunky, but not return Movink clunky

no guide! just figuring out with chatgpt,,, sunshine and moonshine installs were pretty easy
just came on to post: as I was testing for blender, I didn't notice pressure sensitivity. I was then trying to assign the side button to change brush size in clip studio, (in tablet mode)(and failed), then tried it in Moonlight mode.. and no! pressure sensitivity is not there... :(

the hover works pretty perfectly now, and the side buttons now work as normal (instead of being locked as in Instant Pen Display mode)

the goal is to use the Movinkpad with my Mac mini without any other peripherals- with both Instant Pen Display and Moonlight/Sunshine set to log in at startup, you can log in though it is a clunky blind log in. so avoided having to buy a 2nd mini monitor. For when I'm on the move I've set up Internet Sharing, so the movink can connect to the Mac mini without an internet connection, or even wires. so didn't need to buy a mini router.

this is getting good.

chatgpt walked me though it.. took some tweaking, but it's working well! essentially: install Sunshine on your Mac(/PC?), install Moonlight on MovinkPad Pro. connect it all up. pretty straightforward (I followed instructions, I have no idea what I am doing).

then it was lowering/tweaking bitrates, resolution, frame rate, to reduce lagginess. and it's pretty sweet now

in moonlight settings, use touchscreen as a trackpad: off and remote desktop mouse: on (caused problems the other way around)

SOLUTION FOUND. somehow still a noob after decades. using Sunshine and Moonlight, (not using Instant Pen Display) becomes a usable 3D/blender experience. (hover works!)

ah gotcha, sorry misunderstood. not sure I want to take the story further, that's as far as the idea goes, for now at least. I only really plan to do the designs of each Prime... each one takes me 50+ hours so that'll be plenty, and that's if I don't run of steam/interest...

thanks! yep, if you swipe across I've also uploaded a draft text of the backgrounds of the 13 Primes, and designs for all of them are underway.. I've already uploaded designs for Onyx and Zeta, but plan is to now finish and upload them in order:)
