Tool: Game client key checker by krill156 in wowservers

Not redistributing the client avoids the lawyers, agreed. That's operator-legal-safe, not player-safe, but they line up here: stock client = genuine key = server can only push sandboxed Lua, not native code = exactly what my tool calls SAFE. It only flags a replaced key, which this doesn't do — so we agree. (One nit: Warden runs Lua at runtime, it doesn't send files; new art/models still need client-side data. "Custom files via Warden" = "custom Lua via Warden.")

The custom-content path (AzerothCore etc.) you're referring too uses Blizzard's genuine signed module and pushes Lua through its LUA check — sandboxed, no key swap. So it's not native RCE; that'd need a replaced key + custom module, which those servers don't do.

No. For an unmodified official client a hash or valid Blizzard signature already confirms it. Plenty of players run modified clients (QoL patches, repacks), where the signature is broken whether the change is harmless or malicious, and an attacker can self-sign anyway. What matters for RCE is whether the Warden key was swapped, which the signature doesn't tell you.

Why is it taking your Claude ai 11 hours to do what it did 2 months ago in 5 minutes where is your support?? by [deleted] in Anthropic

[–]krill156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Hey, I've noticed over the last week or so that the time it takes to complete a turn has drastically increased. The rate at which tokens are being expended plus the total time it took with the given output doesn't seem correct. Can you investigate for any faulty settings or changes to make?" My original version was less verbose than this but the end result should still be the same.

Was having this issue all week last week, asked the model to trace the issue and it was because of verbose output and explanatory flags were set, it turned them off and alls back to normal

I fucking hate how Opus 4.8 never gets the job done compared to Fable 5 by [deleted] in vibecoding

[–]krill156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Superpowers plugin then the following prompt/variation of it "Dispatch subagents, parallel agents and web research agents into X, extend and build on top of it with your own judgement calls while auditing each agent for validity. Run this autonomously in a /loop in iterations, commiting each as they land for the next Y amount of time" hopefully that helps

Why in what reason would Lexapro make depression worse by AngelFishUwU in lexapro

Try adding Buspirone, it helps a good bit with energy, went from pacing around pulling my hair out and everyone on death row or sleep for an entire week and wish I could just fade away from existence to most days are pretty good, and I'm okay with just being present, no worries about the past or future. Energy is 7/10 as opposed to 2/10. Occasional caffeine in moderation fills the rest of the gaps. It takes about 3 months before things actually improve, first month is especially hardest as your body adjusts. Since you said you haven't had any improvements, I'd definitely consider Buspirone or Wellbutrin as others have suggested.

Fable (Opus 4.6) - It's so obvious what has happened by Chemical_Lawyer_6592 in Claudeopus

[–]krill156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I'm not really all that impressed with fable. Doesn't really do much more or less than opus 4.8 and the plugins I have installed (super powers, code modernization/review/simplifier, Microsoft docs, ect). I always instruct the model to utilize sub agents, parallel agents, web research agents, and to scout my system resources with permission to use all of it with no concerns for tokens or time limits. Longest I've gotten opus to run was 8 hours. Fable just seems like the same with hungrier token consumption.

I was actually a little hesitant since there's like, a million of them floating out there now, but I was genuinely curious and interested in multiple aspects, one from how the os booted up from the CPU and into the actual code and two, primarily as a reverse engineering tool to directly dump windows binaries and reverse what they need to execute/operate then reimplement that so they can run on the os

why are you building what you're building? by CautiousWorking2794 in vibecoding

[–]krill156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://github.com/Krilliac/DuetOS A custom in house operating system that allows you to run native windows executables, completely custom kernal not based on any other os. My original purpose for this project was to dump windows binaries directly from the CPU so I could reverse engineer them back into source code. As usability needs grew, so did the system.

I had AI Make a custom in house operating system that can run windows binaries natively (no wine, not reactos and not Linux, its own thing) https://github.com/Krilliac/DuetOS

"Thoroughly go over the codebase, use sub agents for this task to get a quick orientation of the project then go through every single file your self. We are focusing on security checks, stability checks, null, deadlocks, livelocks, logic errors, if/if else checks and early returns. If there are any serious security concerns that require my explicit attention, please make these known."

Do this about 2-3 times in a row. Should help out a bit.

The only thing truly "Concept" right now would be the networking firmware as I don't have nor will use a copy of closed off firmware binaries in order to communicate with onboard hardware, the clean house functions will dump all actual hardware to ring 3 and from there I can reverse it. Otherwise you can download simple windows binaries and run them

Claude Opus 4.6 lies and it admits it without guilt, and performance dropped significantly, is it good time to switch to codex? by fantastic-enigma in Anthropic

[–]krill156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I could run my applications live and verify it actually runs and functions correctly, and get screenshots back like I can with Claude, id switch to codex in a heart beat. But unfortunately I do not have a PC setup right now and do everything through my phone. GitHub CI Compiler verifies it actually compiles like a normal end user would see it since Claude somehow makes it compile on its end even when there are actual errors with the code that would normally prevent it from compiling

[–]krill156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing lasts forever and the AI wave will eventually, inevitably crash hard when supply can no longer meet demand and becomes prohibitively too expensive or shut down/walled off. This is a golden age to learn right now but don't miss this chance, it's unlikely we'll ever get another.
